AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

In our case, background check has been "In Progress" for 40+ days. I wonder, perhaps IRCC has filled all the 2016 quotas and they cannot issue any more approvals until the new year.

I don't know. But there are September applicants that just got approved so i have no idea what's going on.

Total guess/speculation but it could be those applicants had Nexus or some other reason that expedited their background check. At least one of them on this board did.

My husband and I both have Nexus so once my background changes to in progress I'll keep you all updated!

Hey guys, being in BC and looking at myCIC is feeling pointless and damaging my mental health. But I need to check something everyday, you guys want to NOT check myCIC until the new year with me????? And check in everyday on here????

Oh and my hubbie has Nexus and it hasn't done squat, I'm at 3+ weeks. The 2 lucky Sept apps had BC that lasted only 2 weeks with no rhyme or reason discernible from the outside

I am gonna check once daily. *It's kinda my routine, LOL* I'll be checking in here with you too!

Lol you're fine. Been doing exactly the same thing every day for 3 or 4 months. Just can't stop checking it. With no updates since September you'd think I would have slowed down by now.

Yeah, had I agreed to the "no checking" plan suggested by you, I would have already blown it. May we ALL get decisions very soon.

Hi guys!
Info for all august applicants going to Quebec!
I received my CSQ two days ago.
Request was sent to Quebec around Oct 9th (so it took them over two months to deliver it).
No confirmation from VO yet they received it.
