Well some good news and some bad news.

My wife passed her medicals (yay!)

The bad news, we have to submit another IMM5406 because we did not list my children as her step children. Bummer

They are asking for a PDF version of the form with an original signature. I would like to send the forms to her as PDF but not sure if she can scan and send back to me. Looks like another FedEx trip to the Philippines.

Doesn't she have a printer at home? If not, she can always go to a computer shop in the PI. They do printing, scanning, etc. What she can do is print it and affix her signature, then scan the forms into pdf and send it to you via email.

No she doesn't have a printer but can go to an internet café down the street. I'll check with her tonight. Thanks for the tip

Hello, please can someone help me? I am a October applicant, they requested the IMM5562 form which I thought was odd given that Ottawa is processing- I have completed and sent back. Anyone else had this?

Also does anyone know, once it's been approved, how long do you have to enter the country before the permanent residence becomes invalid?

It means that is your additional docs and you know what? That's a good sign. After you complied that then your background check will be in progress, then PPR soon. So complied it as fast as you can!

In my case my husband received SA Aug 29 then I received AOR2 September 16 so around like 2 weeks

She is August 17th applicant. So that means their are now working on the second week applicant. So I'm the next in line (3rd week applicant) then you're next Crazy D! ;D

Normally they make it good for as long as the medical is good for (1 year from the date you did it).
