The docs request is based on the AOR2. No email after I submitted the additional docs.

Sorry for the long post...

A little bit frustrated with CIC >:(

I recently moved from Quebec to Ontario in October. When I initially filed I was living in Quebec. Now CIC is asking for the Certificat de sélection du Québec.

I have already updated my new address (and province) with CIC and shows my new address in ECAS, but they still want this certificate. Seems a little strange ???

So I called bright and early yesterday and I was told to submit a letter explaining that I live in Ontario. So I replied via email to CIC MVO indicating that my address has already been updated in the system but they still want the certificate ??? (Of course they didn't actually reply, they just sent me a message saying MyCIC had been updated with a new message, which is the same message I originally received indicating the need for the certificate.)

So I have to send them a dummy certificate which is just a letter explaining that I live in Ontario even though my address has been updated by the system. What's going on?

They are threatening to revoke my application if they do not receive everything by December 17th >:(

Damn this red tape!

Congrats to everyone's August file that is moving forward. They are working on the week of August 14th since our medical passed and we were asked to resubmit the IMM5406 (Manila Visa Office).

Godspeed that we get our PPR soon :)

I am sorry to hear of you having trouble! Perhaps you can call them and state your case, and explain what is happeneing. Sometimes I feel like through mail and email, lots of misunderstandings can happen. Wishing you all the best!
