I am really worried now.

CIC requested for a USA PCC eventhough my hubby had stayed less than six months in USA.

CIC have given me 60 days time to submit the documents. We got our RPRF and MR as well.

But the issue is USA Police clearance issuance shows 12 to 16 weeks. What will happen now ?

Anybody has gone through the same issue ? Please help

Even i have been requested for FBI clearance and as your case my stay was less than 6 months too. But the exact wording in the mail is quite confusing:

.....
Dear XXXXX:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

00000000 - XXXXXXXX:
> FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age of 18, please provide an original FBI clearance certificate.

This must be received at this office by: xx/xx/2014

.....
Is your mail as above?

the 'IF' clause is misleading here, i guess its more kind of a generic mail sent to everyone who has visited USA. I don't think we need to get the FBI clearance...what u think seniors?

Yes you are right....I think you should reply to them stating that your stay was not more than 6 months.

Ooops i quoted the wrong post...anyways best of luck for your application. The way CIC works is sometimes really baffling.

Please check your junk/spam folders. We got the medicals request yesterday for me and my wife. One email is in inbox another one is in Spam folder.

Its not in spam too, buddy.
Called CIC again today morning.2nd attempt got hold of an understanding lady. She found out that my spouse and sons file have the old MR record attached to it. She said may be that's the reason I didn't receive any request for them. But she also said that the records are from 2012 and thus expired, no one other than my case processing officer can comment on this and she further advised to mail to email Ottawa? Anyone else in the same boat?

Any Mr today...

so weird no MR today :( :( :( :( :( :(

Maybe applicants who're not registered with this forum received MRs today :) Or applicants
will check back in tomorrow and update the spreadsheet. Hang in there...
