I'm August 23rd Applicant, still waiting for MR. Frustration is mounting up.

All those from Aug 2013 and still waiting for MR, did you send any additional documents to CPP-Ottawa recently? Can we suspect that as the reason for delay in MR?

Thanks Mangochestnut. I emailed CIC yesterday reminding them about my application. I also had the member of parliament in my area email them today. I guess this helped speedup the process because they were taking way too long to reply after sending them additional document.

Congratulations! Regarding additional documentation, did CPP-Ottawa ask you for any additional documents or did you send any documents on your own? Could you please confirm the additional documentation you sent and when for the benefit of all of us who are still waiting for MR. I am August 23rd Applicant, sent additional documents (employer letter, T4, NOA) to CPP-Ottawa a month ago. Do you suspect that is causing delay in getting MR?

Usually how long it takes to change the ecas status to In Progress?

I got my MR yesterday and status still same application received...

Pls dont stress so much...if u see everyday atleast 1 or 2 aug applicants r getting MR and m sure u wl recieve anytime...hopefully tmrw only...

Today its 3-4 th time i changed my details in spreadsheet...and that tooo in a week...sometimes my Noc is wrong...and sometimes my name gets lost...and now i corrected my application recd date....

I think so far we all have been doing a great job at managing the spreadsheet in a healthy state. Lets keep a track on how it goes in next few days. I don't think we need to do anything yet, but if people report issues regularly, we can decide upon locking the spreadsheet and giving access to a few.

Cic was unsure if I was studying fulltime and working at the same time. So they requested that I sent them a transcript of academic record of a school I didn't not attend. So I sent the letter from registrar alluding to my point. The only noa and t4 I submitted was from 2012 tax period becausey application was filed in 2013 so 2013 tax period wasn't ready.
