Please please let me. Know after u receive gcm note....

Nicole, I am on the same boat. I should be getting my GCMS this week. Will let you know for sure.

How long after the RPRF and Biodata request should we expect the passport request? I paid the RPRF fee and sent in the completed biodata form as soon as I received them a week ago. What's the average timeline for people who received the passport request?

Glad to share this news...I got PPR few minutes back. All the best to everyone waiting for MR/PPR.

Just want to confirm on the photograph specification with the seniors...

...
measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown (top of hair);
have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″) finished size;
...

Can anyone confirm? Thanks

Navs, I wanted to add that I am a fertile woman and I was never asked for anything like a pap smear. That is strange and not standard. Maybe you should go to a different doctor if at all possible?

Thank you for your response imatwkrp ..
Yes, I have book appointment with some other clinic now..

Hi all.
I applied CEC, application was received Aug 27, 2012
Medical, BioData, Fee requested on April 27, 2013
Medical done on May 28, 2013 and Doc's office told me they submitted by eMedical thing on June 03, 2013
So, I'm waiting for Passport request....

I have a question while I'm browsing the forum...
What does GCMS stand for? and do I need to do that too??

GCMS >> Global Case Management System
This is the system visa officers use to make notes about the progress on your file. Under the privacy act and access to information act, you are allowed to seek access to the notations in your GCMS file. You do not need to request these notes....they are for people wanting some insight into the progress on their file, especially if it has been stuck for a while.

Thank you spookyb for your explanation!!
That was so quick!
In fact, I just checked now On-Line services and it says "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
And I checked my email, and nothing is there from CIC.
Is that a fixed comment for every applicant?
Should I be worried???
'The office will contact you concerning this decision' sounds awful

Funnygreen,

How long ago were your medicals received at CiC?

Hi Mahek,

In my observation, it is generally taking 20 days for PPR after your medicals are received at CIC. Now this is more true for applicants who's meds were received towards the end of May and afterwards. You can get some rough ideas from this table in the link:

Thanks, InfoSeeker

It's been over a month since I completed my medicals. The RPRF + biodata request came a month and a half after medicals were received. Still no passport request :(. Should I be worried?

Answer to your question. NO. Always NO. Worrying is never an answer. Plus, they asked for your RPRF and biodata....so no need for worrying.

But yea - ATIP online request! When did you last apply for one? Is your ECAS status - still on medicals received or Decision Made? Security checks might be taking some time.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do - I'm sure you know but just for others who may not know, its free if you are in Canada. Just choose the Privacy Act option when it asks (and not ATIP - access to info..)

Thanks. My Ecas is actually still Application Received with an added line : "medical results have been received". I will give it another week.
