It's quiet known that MIFI's year begins April 1st and finish March 31th.
However I don't have a source to prove it..
And it's not an April fools joke

Canada's government fiscal year starts April 1st and ends March 31st, so thats why we see every year's budget is coming in March... Correct me if I am wrong...

In ur case, more than 4 month already passed after document submission/acknowledgement?

CSQ Process Time after document submission:

The Ministère will process your application using the Regular Skilled Worker Program selection grid.

Once the Ministère receives your documents, it will check that your application is complete, namely that you have submitted all the required documents in the right format.
If your application is complete, it will undergo a selection review, with no further notification from the Ministère.
If you application is incomplete, you will receive a message to this effect in your account.

The Ministère will then analyze your application within a period of six months*, starting from the date on which the complete information required to process your application (forms and documents) has been received and added to your file. A decision will then be made based on the Regular Skilled Worker Program selection grid.

* The application processing timeframe may exceed six months for applications that require verifications.

yes i called and they said its normal processing time and you have to wait and rest we dont know how long it will take so still waiting.

may be again we have to wait for another 6 months its really upsetting situation,quebec immigration system is unpredictable and always make fake promises.

Exactly we never know with these guys 6 months its too long. if they respected their promises back then many of us wouldn't be here today

Before the 6 months period was meant to start when you MPQ file was opened and now it's when you have sent all the docs... not fair at all since they can take several months to ask for documents...

This 6 months timeframe is ambiguous and seems more a delaying tactics. For instance, if you have sent all the docs in the correct format and they have already Ackd, they can still ask for some doc(s) few months latter down the road and the counter will be reset to 6 months again. Thus the process could trap in an unending loop.
I hope this is not the case and the 6 months period starts at the reception of all the docs for the first time.
