Have they indicated any reason in your gcms notes for the delay in issuing PPR like review required on EE, POF, etc.?

only for previous US visa refusals- review required is indicated..other than that nothing. infact gcms notes show only info sharing as complete...all the remaining were yet to start.

Hi everyone

CEC
AOR April 14
Applied with one dependent(my wife). At the time of application my wife was pregnant so we gave a pregnancy deferral letter for medical and on June 26 my wife completed her medical.
I received my son's birth certificate last week and uploaded that today via web form. My son is a Canadian born and me and my wife still waiting for our PR.

The processing time for CEC is 6 months and it will be 6 months in 4 days and my status is still "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." and "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" and "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".

I called IRCC today and they said the exact same status I am seeing online and they told me to wait till end of this year. The agent also told me that since the status says they are still reviewing the eligibility, there is a chance of rejection.
I am really worried. My work permit and my wife's dependent work permit is going to expire next month. I wanted to save money by not applying for bridging work permit but it is getting close and now I am not sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

Since you are in Canada (I assume so) Order GCMS notes through: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

and I would suggest you to apply for bridging WP at the earliest and do not wait until the end of the year, because it will take some time to process it as well

What kinda agent will be telling someone about a chance of rejection? Although it is possible for an application to be rejected, I don't see the need for such worrisome statement. Please don't bother yourself with such information.........I am hoping you sent in the right documentations. You will definitely be fine. About waiting till end of the year, I am not sure it makes sense.......Once you reach the 6 months mark, try and raise a CSE and also call CIC prompting for a specific reason why they have passed the timeline of 6 months. And also, ask if they can reach the via office directly as you wait over the phone. Someone on this forum called CIC when he got to the 6 months processing time and still on that phone call, he was given the PPR. Don't give up, you will get it, we all will get it.
Less I forget, congratulations for your new born baby!!!
