We are crossing our fingers big time that they will send it to Ottawa. My husband is German, but he is here in Canada on an IEC visa that is good until March 2017. So I guess they could still send it to Vienna but we are hoping that visa works in our favour ;)
apply for gcms notes after getting sa because we have seen application being send to different vo than it was mentioned in the sa mail....just for the peace of mind....

if he is on international experienced class category and his visa is valid that long there is a 90 % chance for having your vo as cpc

ooooh I see what you're saying about the email. I didn't even think about it not being the actual officer that sends the email

that is what I'm hoping!!! Also hoping the whole process is finished before it expires so he can keep his current job

I don't understand this. My wife is also holding IEC visa and now in Canada. However, I think her "country of origin" decides the visa office, am I wrong @@?

you are not wrong. the country of origin does decide the visa office, unless that person has legal status in another country for 12+ months, it could be sent there i believe. so if a applicant is already in canada on a work or study visa and are applying for spousal pr, there IS a chance the application would be processed through ottawa. how likely this is, no one can really say. it's just a wait and see thing...

did not see any cic mail in my box :(
