Hi everyone,

long time lurker here to let you know that the CIC is on the move again. I got my 'decision made' status over the weekend. ;D

Congratulation....

BTW when did you applied and what are the timelines for MR, RPRF and PPR in your case?

Thank you

Timeline is:

-received application for permanent residence on April 10, 2014.
-receipt of application on May 5, 2014.
-Medical on November 5, 2014.
-Medical results received on November 10, 2014
-RPRF on November 11, 2014.
-Started processing application on November 26, 2014.
-Decision made January 11, 2015.
I don't need to send in my passport as I am from a visa exempt country, so I am just waiting for Canada post snail mail then I'm off to the border.

Hope this helps calm some nerves.

Nice one!

For those waiting for RPRFs and PPRs, like me, just relax, we are way ahead of the pack. Some even don't have their MRs yet even way back in January applicants.

I was talking to a colleague of mine who applied 1 month before me and still has no MR. I can't complain that much. The strange thing is that we have same GCMS status!

I know there are other factors but our comparisons work, GCMS, family, etc are all the same. Now go figure!

Application filed: 22 April 2014
AOR: 27 May 2014
Application: Mum & Dad and 2 young children under 16 years
GCMS ordered: 03 January 2015

No medical request yet and no further news from CIC since AOR. Application on eCAS still showing "Application Received".
I have book in for an upfront medical after discussing with Medical Provider

Hi Seniors, I've got the latest PCC last week. Could you share the address I send them to CIC and a sample of the cover letter? Thanks a lot!

Did you ordered GCMS notes.

Yes GSMS ordered 3 January - what worries me is that there is very little information available to clients on what is happening with their applications and when one hears about all the issues like client's letters, reports, medicals being lost one certainly gets worried.

Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much, atomic cobra! It really helps. It's good to know that CIC are actually doing something. I'm one of the May applicants, but I read this thread as well.
