April 2014 Application

AOR: April 2014. nothing update yet . no medical , no GCMS report, no any call or mails from CIC…I don't know whats going on??? worried hope all is well

Same thing, applied in April, received AOR 20 days later and thats it...and since then never heard from them anything. I order GCMS last month, still didn't get them.

Seniros : please update the sheet.. i have recieved the PPR yesterday. the ball is rolling in CIC now. . hope that all of you get the PPR etc sooon now..

The above two posts were there from Feb 2014 applicants
so probably there is a lot of time for us to wait in order to receive our PPR request. : :-X :-\

Yes they will take full 13 months.

Got new job in leading bank (permanent position) but PR is still a concern.

Recent GCMS Assessment:
Eligibility: In progress
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed

Nothing updated after October. I send additional documents supporting my duties but nothing much happened. They updated the documents but still says review is required. Maybe I am planning to consult a lawyer (not sure if this helps)

Folks,

I ordered GCMS on 12th Dec and got it yesterday (13th Jan). It was the snapshot of my file as of 15th Dec. Everything seems to be normal in my notes.

Eligibility: In progress / Recommend Passed
Medical: Passed
RPRF: Complete
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress

I also noticed "FINALIZE APPLICATION" after detailed notes for Medical, Security and Criminality.
And this is what it says on last page of the notes. --> RECOMMENDATION: Appears to meet requirements..

The last update on my file as per GCMS was after receiving Medicals and RPRF on 28th Nov. It has been almost 1.5 months, there is no activity. Perhaps there may be as my GCMS note was taken on 15th Dec.

Could some body highlight, that in my GCMS notes the letter for employment they say is very basic, and officer review is required. I got the new letter from Job explaining the duty in much detail. I send them via email using the email address,
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca.
My question is do I need to send them via surface mail too.? If yes what will be the mail address. Thanks for your help guys.

your scanned Job letter emailed to CIC should be enough.
If you also decide to send it by mail, use this address:

My ECAS is still showing me Application Received status... Under that shows Medical Results have been Received.

One of my friend who applied in May month who got the status change as "We have started working on your application XX January 2015"

So I want to make sure that ECAS should change if VO will start working on our applications.

My application status on ECAS has been "Application received" forever while I know they are working on my application because I got the GCMS notes which had detailed notes about my file and I also received RPRF request. Yet my status on ECAS hasn't changed. Sometimes they dont update the application status even if they are working on it. It might just directly go to "Decision made".
