people who have done upfront medicals, what does the status show? for me it still says "application received".

I did my upfront medicals in the month of September and doctor office confirmed that it was uploaded successfully.

Guys, got the MR today. Strangely enough CIC has asked me to do only chest x-ray.

The email mentioned:
In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for your self.

I had done my meds for my work permit back in Aug last year, so those results are still valid it seems.

Do you guys have any more ideas on this.

Serves people like you right .. who asked you to act oversmart and go for upfront medical ? Can't you just wait for your turn and let the process take its own course -- now don't whine and just wait !

Even if you have done upfront medical, Your online status will show as Application received only... I would suggest order GCMS notes to confirm whether they received it or not...

Anyways dont worry your file will be in process soon.

If they are asking only for x-ray then my guess is as good as yours.

how does doing upfront medical cause delay in PR processing; either my medical report would show to my profile or it won't.

Maybe my background check is taking a bit!!!

My initial ask was about status for people doing upfront medicals and not that I am worried of delay.

eCas is still Application Received but the notes have been updated.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2014.

2. Medical results have been received.

Now I will continue to patiently wait when they will start processing our applications.
