April 2014 Application

Friends,

Do you have any idea? When will I get passport back from CIC and my passport reached on 10th April at Ottawa.

Passports reached to Ottawa on April 2nd Morning and still waiting to have the return tracker get activated.....Any one know how long is it taking to get the passports back from ottawa.....Thanks

I am not sure but looks like we need to call CIC agent and ask for office appointment

CIC will designate you to the nearest CIC office. I believe you don't have an option. Veeru5 is lucky is that he is close to Calgary office. Then you have to wait for the time and date of your appointment which is unknown until you receive the email (if lucky) and/or regular mail.

To cancel or change an appointment, I think you can only snail mail them. Calling the number will do you no good for they only designate the office and not the appointment. The local CIC Office does that. So all correspondence needs to be directly to the CIC office.

I for one have a CIC office that does the landing and is only 10mins away from my house but decided to drive to Niagara Falls for 1.5 hours to do the landing 2 days after receiving our passports.

lol, guess what I am not that lucky... I am still waiting for PPR.
and I would prefer going to Niagara once I receive my PPR as I live in Toronto and would not mind get it quickly instead of waiting for the appointment request.

I am also planning to land at Niagara border . It will be fast for me
I want to finish evry thing fast now ;D ;D ;D ;D

CIC received my passport on April 8th and returned it yesterday. I got it this morning. Good luck!
