Finally, I got tired of waiting for MR email and did Medical upfront today. The standard processing time of 1 year completes for me on this Friday 11 April, so will call CIC on Monday morning first thing to see what they have in store for me. Hoping to see some good news soon.

Congrats to all who completed this journey... and all the best to my buddies waiting like me.

Maxmoore, do you mind sharing what kind of questions and documents officers haves asked you for?

They didn't ask for any particular document, but I printed my last pay stub and 1 bill with my current address in Canada. All the questions were normal such us:

1) Where did you get your work permit? Where did you land firstly when you came to Canada? Where do you work? What is your profession? (1st officer)
2) Have you been convicted or in jail? Do you bring any goods with you? (2nd officer)

And... that was pretty much everything. I don't have dependants with me, so maybe they will ask more questions if you are accompanied.

Can you elaborate more... I have never updated my linkedin for 2 years. Also, The company website was built via IISv6 so it works fine with Internet explorer 7 and less,,, Actully this is sth related to my boss... I am confused ???

You need to provide CIC a concise statement of what you are claiming.

I am confused too and I believe the VO is also confused.

So do something to take out the confusion - e.g; salary of 40k and T4 showing 28k, etc.

As it stands your employment does not look genuinely complying

That's a drag but you still are in a better position than those still waiting for any update.

Just a little more patience.

So the CoPR has been sent to their officefor more than two weeks and apparently I am not getting anything so far. Probably the journey will continue for another couple months - who knows.

So, the officer put some dates in my CoPR after landing, but the last entry date is wrong. Do I have to send it for amendment to CIC? What is the procedure? I doubt I will apply for citizenship because I already have 2 citizenships and I'll have to drop 1 to become Canadian.

Received my 2nd GCMS notes today.
ELIGIBILITY: Recommend Passed
SECURITY: Not Started
CRIMINALITY: In Progress
Medical: Passed
RFPF: OUTSTANDING

On the notes it says RECOMMENDATION: Appears to meet requirements.

My Application was received on APril 17
AOR: May 12
MR: Feb 10.

Is it safe to pay RFPF now or just wait.
Need some advise.
