The same with us - They started processing our case on July 4, not a sign of the acknowledgement yet.....

July 9, 2013 : no mail yet. I was hopping to get it this week based on other people's experiences (~ 1month after processing date). I'm in Vancouver.

Thanks for the update. When did you send your application? Did it take 2 months for them to deliver?

Hi Suin

Yes it took them almost 2 months to deliver. I have sent my application on April 7th 2013.From what i see two months to create ECAS and start processing and then another two months to deliver citizenship acknowledgement letter with study book.

Good luck everyone.

Wow, that took quite a long time to arrive... It took 6 weeks for ours to be delivered.

How did it arrive? Was it in a large envelope? DId it have any message like "do not forward" on it?

I am still waiting for mine. What I am concerned about is that I moved in July. I did set up mail forwarding to my new address with Canada Post but they only forward standard letters, not any large packages from what I understand.

Yes, it arrived in a light brown large (A4 size) envelope. There was no message on it - just the addresses: mine & theirs.

Canada Post is supposed to treat this type of mail as a regular mail - does not matter the size. It comes from the government & it should be considered as important.

Is there anyone who sent their application in 2013, and their file has already been transferred from Sydney to their local CIC office? By the way, you can find this out by calling CIC and asking them, because you can't see the transfer of application to local office on E-cas.

Canada Post has a disclaimer with their mail forwarding service that they may not forward mail from the government. I'm wondering if my mail is simply stuck somewhere...
