No i applied from India only. Now I feel I should have filled the form for non paid rep using a friend's address for correspondence. At least if it was being returned it would have been in Canada only.

I too feel the same. But it's okay I guess. I applied from Canada and then I traveled back to India. So I guess it should be fine. The only problem here is the number of days it may take :( :(

Yea that is the only issue. I am planning to wait until tomm. If nothing comes I will e-mail them.

I have already mailed them today as I thought that the timeline for their response taking 20 working days is too long. That's almost a month. So let it go parallely and keep my fingers crossed :( :(

Guys,
Could anyone let us know the contact number so that we can call and check with them? I have to call from India. So what will be the number?

Guys if you still couldn't fill up the spreadsheet missing details. please do it. as we had to modify the "country" and "AOR receiving date" column

Btw, here is the email that I received...can someone please take a look if it's the AOR that can be used for BOWP application? I noticed they only said "will be forwarded to a visa office", how do they know what visa office to send it to since I put "CIO Sydney" in my application form? WIll they automatically send it to CPP-Ottawa? :o

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Canadian Experience Class.

Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

Any future correspondence should be sent to the visa office as indicated on your application. Your reference (application) number is located below the date of this letter. You must quote this reference number in any future correspondence.

Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.

I got the same email as you did. Yes, that's the AOR. As far as the visa processing office goes don't even worry about it . You will not get rejected for stating the wrong office . But, at the same time since you have your file number you can always fill out those forms again and you can add it to your file . The key is to find where your file is :S . That's going to be tough one since you didn't fill out the visa office name properly. But, my understanding is that your application will be forwarded to Ottawa anyways. So don't worry too much about it.. Call the CIC centre after 2-3 weeks and find out where your file is? Once you do add these forms to file quoting your file number and that should be no problem .

Wait for 1 or 2 days and then you can check the status using the url below.

Couple years ago I have contacted CIC officer for some issues with the work permit application. When I talk to him I asked about this matter. He said it will be good if we send print both side. Because it will be reduce the weight of file and make them easy to handle the application package. But I still print single side. ;)

Do anyone has the contact number for CIC Sydney office? I would like to check my application status. It has been more than 6 weeks and yet to receive AOR.

I don't think you can contact them directly. If you call the CIC call center, the agent may be able to access your file through your UCI.
