Guys please bear with with me for my stupid question. How do you log on to the Ecas . I entered the client id and then should we enter the full name or just our last name?

Thank You! You have to put your last name as you put in your application form. In some cases like me we have both our first name and last name written in the given name column in the passport so we use the entire name as last name as per CIC Instructions. You can follow whichever applies to you!

for April CEC applicants. any plans to do upfront medical. I am going to....

Guys two questions. hope someone can help me on this

1) I worked in hongkong for 1year on a work permit. But I did not submit Hong Kong PCC along with the application. To apply for hong kong PCC I need a letter from CIC requesting PCC. CIC website clearly states this and also I put in these details in the covering letter of my application. I received my AOR on the 31st May. Any thoughts on at what stage of the processing a PCC would be requested ?

2) My employer did not provide me with the experience letter. So I submitted other documents like experience letter from the indian arm of the same company (With my job roles listed clearly), experience letter from the architect on the project(With my job roles listed clearly), Pay slips, Salary letter, offer letter, Employment extension letter, T4 slips, NOA from Revenue Canada, Email copy from my canadian employer rejecting my request to issue experience letter.... to prove my work experience in Canada. Now that I received my AOR is there a possibility that my application can still be rejected on the grounds that my Canadian employer issued experience letter is not provided ?

1) Your application will take another 6 months (minimum) to get into process. You are good to submit your PCC within the next 6 months. No impact on your application processing by doing this.
2) AOR issuance is no guarantee of successful PR. It is just the initial screening of docs submitted. The real test is when the VO takes up your application for processing and uses his brains to judge your case based on the evidences you have provided.
Keep your fingers crossed, there is nothing much you can do - except for fighting it out and asking for experience letter in the required format from your Canadian employer. You are still at high risk in the present scenario.

Thankyou Andy.

I think it's unusual too. Some suggestions:
- Was it your current CEC application that shows that it was received? not any other past applications?
- Maybe you wrote your email wrong and AOR couldn't be sent (therefore maybe will be snail-mailed to you?)
- Maybe they sent it to the wrong email address? or they couldn't read well your email address?

But yeah, always good to check with them. They get lots of emails all the time, so you just need to be patient. They might not respond to you because you don't have the information sent in the AOR email for reference =/

Thanks for replying Kaytea. This is first application. I called CIC to confirm my email address.... :(

18882422100. but they said they cant see CEC application in their system. They can only see the general information, such as mailing address, telephone number and email address.... :( I still didn't get my AOR. I saw people who submitted their application on April 18 have already got AOR.
