LCM21 you're on the right track.. STICK TO THE PLAN!! :P

I will! Prepared everything for my BOWP application, so it'll be ready to go next week.

I received two police certificates now by the way... Turns out the first one didn't get lost in the mail, it apparently just took the touristy route. Which means I could technically "waste" one by sending it to them just in case. However, as said before, I don't want to confuse them.

Sent my application at April 23rd. Hopefully by the same time next year I'd get the card!

This is my 1st ever post on here, submitted my application on April 2nd to CIO Sydney. received on April 5th. Any April Applicant received their AOR? All the best to all of us!

Hi All,

My application was successfully delivered to Sydney on 18th April 2013. When can I expect the AOR? And please do let me know what are the next actions to be taken from my end.

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

Help required!

I filed and posted my CEC application on 13th April 2013 in Canada with the "Current Country of Residence" as Canada. And I traveled back to India on 14th April 2013 and I will be in India going forward. Should I update CIC my change in Current Country of Residence? I have provided them with a cover letter about my travel along with Flight tickets.

If I need to contact them, could you guys let me know the contact. My application was received by CIC on 18th April 2013 and it is Sydney, Nova Scotia. I have not received my AOR yet.

Please let me know what to do here.

Thanks in advance!

Going by the current trend, you should expect to get your AOR in 5-6 weeks (~May 24).
If you are visiting India for few days there might not be any need to update your address, however if your stay is going to be longer, you can use your ECAS account to update your mailing address. To send any additional documents to CIC you can look up CPP-O mailing address or can send some docs (excluding PCC) by email: ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca
Good luck!

Thanks Aquareo!

How to create an ECAS account? I don't have one. Can I update before the AOR? I don't have any file# or any identification by which I can identify my application in CIC.

My stay is going to be longer. The mailing address provided in the application is my Indian address for correspondence. I don't have any additional documents to be sent. I just want to update the Current country of residence and all other details provided in the application is as from India.

Please help.

Your details would not be reflecting in the online system before you receive your AOR. Once you receive AOR, you will be able to find your details by entering your client ID, Last name, DOB and Country of Birth. There is no separate registration to access your details via the ECAS system. Sometimes, there might be a delay for your details to reflect in the online system, so dont panic..if that happens just try after few days.

So I believe I should wait till the AOR and then contact the CIC about the change in my Country of residence. Should I do anything else?

that is correct, Wait till u receive your AOR and then you can do the rest. There is no way CIC can track ur file without an AOR.

Thanks for the update!
I will wait and if anything I will post here again.

Hi,

Please check at cic site

Change my address
If you have an application in process, you must tell CIC if you change your address. There are different ways of changing your address depending on whether you are:

In Canada
Outside Canada

If you are outside Canada, you must contact the Canadian visa office serving your region to change your address

Thanks nitz!
I will wait till my application status changes to "in process" and then contact CIC.

Any AOR for april applicant? Good luck to all :)
