Hello April applicants,
I have sent my application yesterday and it will be received at CIO on 4th April.

Hello everyone,
Myself and my friend will be sending in our documents for PR by the end of this month.

We have just applied for our PCCs and are waiting for those to arrive.

Let's all of us join forces and hope for the best.

Thank you

Hi Guys,

I am going to send my CEC application next week. One thing i want to make sure that is it necessary to print the filled forms single sided or both sided would be fine? I read on this forum that somebody got his application back stating that application is missing some pages. Now, i have my application ready but i also did back to back printing, should i sent the application like that or should take new single sided prints? Please advice

So excited to get our application off.....just waiting waiting for the all the paperwork :) And then the long nervous wait starts.......

has anybody applied when they have not fully obtained the 12 months work experience??? we are here since last may. my partner is working here since early june 2012 sheet metal worker fulltime employment.
even tho he has not reached the 12 month mark, we were advised by irish immigration canada to apply now.
his current work permit has expired and he has applied for his new work permit since feb 10th and it still has not arrived so he has had to switch to visitor status. his employer is holding his job for him. we are going to go ahead and apply now for CEC PR.
any thoughts?
:)

there is no way you can apply for CEC if you do not have a 1 year experience. Do not listen to any agents. Just follow CIC website.

Your partner may be eligible for PR in any other classes depending on various other factors.

Hi there im gonna submit my application this week. Just need to verify one thing, for the generic application form question #4 (Immigration Office requested for processing this application) should I write CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia, CA or is there any specific Immigration Office? Im from Edmonton, Alberta. Thanks!

Just read it:( I sent last week and I wrote CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada in question #4
Is it a big error? I feel worried.
Btw, I live in Calgary, AB.

It should be CPP-O if you are having it processed within Canada.

Guys, do take time to carefully read over the instructions that go with the CEC application - they really do help! :)

It's very unlikely it will cause any problems. I'm confident if you have put nothing or sydney they will just transfer it to Ottawa anyway.

Thank you so much. I was very stressful that day when I submitted the application. I thought I got everything but always something missing.
Hope it goes well as you said :)
