Pl. reply

Nevil

Hi Nevil,

You are fine.....dont worry at all.

You were never supposed to send your IELTS results to CIO. Take your test in September without any worries. Your application WILL NOT BE REJECTED because you did not send your IELTS result.

Hi,

I did send my ielts result not sure about others but there are few april applicants who send application after 10th April and have successfully received the AOR, i dont know how they will treat May applicants because this rule started in April so they may have gave margin to April applicants.

Cheers
Saki

Hi Saki,

Even after 10th April rule until the 26th Jun rule came into effect applicants were never supposed to send IELTS Score to CIO. It was only for the benefit of the applicants that it was recommended to take the IELTS test before anyone applied to CIO, just to be sure about their points.

Hi Karen

Good to see you back.... how's everything going?

1. Not necessary to show old account. But it is another way of confirming your deposits for pay etc.
2. Show the Time deposit was in your name ( should not be shared by someone who is not on your PR application)
3) Whatever money you are transfering should be in our name -Retain that proof.

My IELTS is in Academic form. When I sent my initial application (Before 26 jun and new rul) it was valid for 13 months. I should also mention that I sent a photocopy of my IELTS. Now not only is it less than 1 year valid but also it is in academic form. Is there any chance for this test or I should retake another test. Please help me because finding a free seat in Iran is a hard job. Saki told me that s ok but still, I am not comfortable.

Any IELTS results that are less than 1 year old at the time of their submission to the visa office - are NOT valid!!! And that' really important.

You will have real troubles with the VO - they will reject your application on the grounds of the invalidity of your IELTS results - and according to the new rules they won't ask you to resubmit newer results.

Before that you could have a chance of taking another test and resubmitting results.

But now all packages are reviewed "AS IS".

So do not risk - take another IELTS and sleep well....

;D

Hi Mitali

I have sent my final application to the London visa office that reached there on 19July last month. When should i expect my second AOR in September/October?
When they may start processing the case? what is your calculation?

What do you say?

Hi Mostafa,

I agree with Rambler.....take a retest. According to the current rules the band for listening has been increased to 7.5 and rest are 6.5.
Your documents (IELTS,PCC) should be valid when it reaches CHC.

Hi,

You should be receiving your 2 AOR very soon....in August. It takes about 15-20 days. The processing at CHC is "first come first basis", case type and visa office.....so it is difficult to predict exact timeline for that. But you will get a feel by following the trend on the forum.

Hi sukhi,

Congratulations.

1) You got your 1st AOR from CIO on 25th Jun and they transferred your file to CHC on 30th June as you had indicated your VO to be ND. That is regular process.
2) You will get your visa in 8 months if everything goes well without a hitch (that is the average time)
3) This 8 month time period also includes request for Medicals etc and they should let you know within 3 months.Hence the statement by them_If you dont hear anything from us within3 months contact them (CHC) directly.

Hopefully your doubts have been cleared.
