Hi Hinnajamal,

Maybe you will see a change in the status on Tuesday... as that's when CIC updates the website. Which means they have begun working on your application.

Goodluck

Thanks Mitali
1. Do they update the status once in a week only ? Like Tuesday only

2. Is my case ok or there is anything to worry about?

Hi Hinna,

They update the status on Tuesday and Wednesday every week.
I read your last message and it seems very weired that without sending you the 2nd AOR or changing the status they have done the verification call in a one month. Whats you current ecas status is showing "Received by VO" ?

Cheers

Hi,

If you cant make points from any other way then you must re-sit the exam and achieve the score which brings your total upto 67 points otherwise visa officer will reject your application because of the less points.

guys.

I received my 2 nd AOR from chc delhi, and i fall under SW2.

Hello pvkks2000

Congrats for the second AOR! I think you sent your documents on 30 July.
I am also in FSW2 with ND Visa office. I sent my full documents on 04 August.
I wanted to know whether you rcd the AOR through normal post or registered post/courier?
Also, has the ND office indicated any timeline for the processing of the application?

Anyways, you are one step ahead. Wish you the best.

Regards,
STS

My ecase status is same since i received 1st AOR from NS.

Hello all: Finally, I am glad to announce that my DD was encashed on 28 JUL 2010.
A question: Does this imply that CIC has approved my application and the next step is for me to file my dox with ND after I receive the AOR? Can there still be some surprises on the way?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thats a good news, yes still there can be surprises we have seen few applicants whose CC was charged but application was returned. You should receive your AOR early next week as its taking 2 weeks average time these days.

Saki,
Thanks a lot. So, what is the process? This is what I know. Request you to validate my understanding.

Fill up forms -> Send to NS -> Get AOR -> Send all dox to VO -> Get another AOR -> Wait for Medical request -> Medical check-up -> Submit med report -> Wait for i/v request -> Appear for i/v -> Wait for passport req -> Submit passport -> Wait for stamped passport to arrive -> Travel.

Thanks in advance.

Your understanding about the process is right except interview setup, if interview is not waived it comes before medical request and if it is waived it will be written in the medical request that your interview is waived and send us the medicals.
