Applying for SINP- Birth Certificate is necessary?

Hi all,

My husband is Primary applicant and I am spouse dependent. I do not have my birth certificate and on July 5th 2018 I submitted my affidavit with my husband's SINP application. I was in a belief that Birth certificate is mandatory for Primary applicant only but now I am worried my affidavit would create a prob.

Kindly anyone confirm if BC is required for non primary applicant?

I am not in India and would like to know how I can apply for Non Availability of Birth Certificate from here?

Try it for the help of agents / advocates or Collectorate or municipal employees. Send your relatives or friends for that.

Even though you are not primary applicant you still need to provide NABC (Non Availability of Birth Certificate) for SINP. If you have born in village (where there is no Municipal Corporation established ) you need to get the NABC from Grampanchayat (if NABC provided by Grampanchayat is in local language you need to get it convert it in English and get it affidavit done from Court). If the place of your birth has Municipal Corporation you can get NABC from there too.

From the SINP document checklist, it is stated that the primary applicant, spouse, and dependent children must attach there BC, accompanying or not.

What will happen if “place of birth” on “passport” is different than the “place of birth” mentioned in the birth certificate ?
