Hi, my work permit expires on 4th Dec and I applied on July 27th so my expiry is exactly a week over 4 months from the date of application, is there a possibility that it will be rejected because of that?

Hi I am on my work permit and I have a slight issue. It’s just that my family name and my first name are the same on my work permit.I. e., both have my full name on them. Will that be an issue? Other than that everything is good……
Got approved today. Timeline:
Jun 28: Application submitted.
Aug 09: Application approved for 18 months counting from today.
This was a ghost update as I randomly checked GCkey today. I noticed that this morning Eligibility changed to "being reviewed", and this afternoon changed to "been reviewed". I haven't checked the GCkey at all last week so I don't know if they started reviewing Eligibility today or last week.
So total time for me was 43 days.
So far I haven't received any email or message, but hopefully I'll receive the physical work permit some time next week.

Wait for a few more days, It can take 40 to 50 days these days. They pretty much approve your permit the moment they touch it.Congrats!

Applied on June 23rd and approved on Aug.14, almost 1 week less than 2 months!
When I applied they said 34days in the website for processing time!!

I applied for the work permit extension on June 8th, got the AOR mail which said i can continue working till October 10 or when they reach a decision on my application, whichever earlier.
It’s been more than 2 months now, I haven’t heard anything yet? Is anyone here who applied for extension in June & got approved?
