Sorry for the long absence, i was really busy and a little frustrated.

I just received my passport request from Buffalo office via email today, i am very happy, i cannot express my feelings. it took 4 months after medicals to get the PPR.

Has any body dealing with the LA office sent in their RPRF?

They have not asked for it from me yet, but I would like to send it in before they ask.

Does any of you know to send it....i.e. the address, US or Canadian dollars and whose name should the DD made to?

Thank you so much guys, i have just arrived from the USA borders between Buffalo and canada.

I landed today with my cousin by his car, the USA officers were so rude, they made me wait in thier offices for 2 hours to give me the refusal letter !!!!


After i got it, i turned back to Canada "[size=10pt][size=10pt]my lovely country[/size][/size]" and landed within only 5 mins. the immigration officer only asked me about the proof of funds, the visa, and the COPR, and that was it.

She granted me the PR status right away and stamped my passport, and stapled the third copy of the COPR on my passport, and told me that the PR card will be sent to my mailing address within 4 to 6 weeks.

She told me you are a permanent residnet now, and you can apply for the permanent SIN card and the OHIP rightaway without any need to wait for the PR card.

Thank god, i am now a PR, no more international student fees or work restrictions or anything else.

Thank you so much WaitingForPR_09, why didn't you go in person or send someone to get the visa stamped from Buffalo ? you could have got it the same day like i did.

I received the PPR on wednesday at 3:45 pm via email and sent my cousin with the passport the day after "Thursday", he arrived there at 8:15 AM. Then i landed on Friday at 3:30 through the borders.

It takes only 1 hour and 37 Mins from my house in canada ontario, to the canadian consulate general in Buffalo new york.
