Hello all,
I hope everyone is doing great and congratulations to all who got movement/PPR. I just heard back from the NY consulate yesterday in response to my query and they said that:

Dear Sir:

In response to your E-mail, be advised that we received your fee and your medical results. Your case is under review, and you will be contacted soon after a final decision is made .

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Canadian Consulate General | Consulat général du Canada

More than a year now since my application...fingers crossed...PPR should come soon!

I got the below msg from my CHC. Does anyone know what "next few weeks" mean? 2 or 4 or more? Thanks! BTW, my e-cas still doesn't show "medical received."

************
Good morning.

Your application is ready for finalization. Instructions will be sent to you by email within the next few weeks.

If your visa is issued by 22Oct10, we will not require a new FBI certificate.

Hey...that is good news. ..ur almost there. I waited five weeks after medical submission to send in a query. In your case, you got a different response. You should be getting ppr soon!

Wow, they want to make sure the FBI is not more than 1 year before they issue the Visa :D. I definitely need the new FBI then :). No more question

Hi, I got FBI in July 2009. Based on what they said, I guess they can accept 15-months old FBI. When did you get your first one?

Thank you! Someone else told me that I will get it in 2 weeks. Let's see if I'm lucky enough.

Hoorrraaayyy, Congrats roopa82!!! I thought that Buffalo had slowed down again as there was no progress for any forum member in the past week. Do you remember when your medicals had reached Ottawa?

Hi Seniors,

I received med request last week. But, there was no other docs requested neither the RPRF fee. Is this common no that RPRF may notbe asked during med request or should I be worried?

Thx

Where do I send the RPRF fee? I received the medical forms and was asked to send this fee. No where in the letter it says where to send the payment. It only says to make check payable to 'Consulate General of Canada'
