It seems the files who were received around Christmas and New Years are in delay.......it's driving me crazy!
Maybe they're just on a pile with all the Christmas decoration somewhere...... ;)
We just have to wait, just the five of us in that bright white area on the tracker...... ::)

Take care and hold on!

Kind regards,

Hi guys

My 2nd AOR is driving me crazy, no sign of it at all,
My ECAS is in process and inside:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 7, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 3, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011.

Do i have to assume my 2nd AOR has stopped in some post office for coffee :P :P :P, or considering the punctuality of postal offices in my country, just stop worrying at all!!!!!

I dont know when to expect for my medicals ??? ??? ???

Hi - the dates look like an ECAS error to me. No way can you go "In Process" on the same day you get your PER from CIO - unless they have some way of instantly transporting your file from Canada to your visa office! So I think this is just your PER date, and a bit of CAIPS -> GCMS teething problems!

Since your are the only applicant on our thread using Rome as a visa office it is difficult to predict any timelines, since each visa office has different speeds. But as a December applicant I don't think you should expect medicals for a few months yet, and possibly a good while before 2nd AOR (if Rome issues 2nd AORs).

Manila, the fastest and first visa office to respond, is only up to 1st November 2010 applications for issue of medicals.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Hey Mikey,

If thats the case.. how could they send the medical to a 20th Oct applicant with noc 1122 ..(Have a look into spreadsheet) and you are 20 Sept applicant! ... Are you employed or self employed?

Hi Majorhell,

Unlike the PERs which were issued roughly in order of applications received at CIO, the AORs have not followed any particular order.
If you remember, early in February or end January I'm not sure which a lot of people had their ecas status change to RBVO. I am accordingly assuming that a whole bunch of applications were despatched to Visa around that time stacked in no particular order and possibly NOC wise. The October applicant you mention may have also been in that lot.
I have based my theory on these assumptions and of course I may be wrong - its only guess work in the absence of a plausible explanation. :)
My Ecas still shows RBVO so again I assume that they have not yet started background checks.

My husband is the principal applicant and he is employed.
