Hi, can.boy, BC2013 and Anvaller.

I found this site: http://get2canada.wordpress.com/2nd-aor/, where the guy explains the 2ndAOR which was sent to the Applicants of Manila. And according to this, I think that this is 2ndAOR from Vienna because the text is approximately the same.

@ can.boy, its true that I sent an inquiry, but about that inquiry they sent me another e-mail. (so they sent me two e-mails the same day)

@ Anvaller, no I didn't receive any AOR before except the e-mail from CIC Nova Scotia, Sydney about the PER.

Thanks to all of you guys...

Doni thanks for sharing info, and congrats it is one step closer to Canada. ;)

How long did it take for you guys between medical and the decision?

I did my medical 5 weeks ago next monday, I was hoping to have a reply by now.

I did my medical in May and I am still waiting for -"THE DECISION". Patience is the mother of wisdom. ;)

Hey, can u give a summary of ur application? I mean when u applied, when u got PER, AOR, MR. just to cross check the processing speed of ur application. Normally the time gap between MR and PPR should be between 1-4 months but as u can see from the can.boy's scenario on this thread, one can not tell.

Wow that's crazy. Most people I spoke with they said it takes around 6 weeks!

I did the PNP Alberta, family stream.

Send initial application to Alberta: February 2009
Received approval Alberta: October 2011
Send documents to Berlin: February 2012
Received medical: November 2012.

What else is needed ?:)

Dear Applicant :

This is to confirm receipt of the additional documents you sent .

You will be informed about the further steps in your application in due course, not likely before the coming spring.
Applications are processed in accordance with administrative processing priorities and the date of their receipt at this office. You will be informed about the further steps in your application in due course. After the closure of the Berlin and Belgrade Visa Offices, due to the larger workload processing times have increased.

Visa Office

My friend received this letter from Vienna, He applied few weeks before me...

Thanks so much for sharing this info, at least we know what one can be expecting. It's a kind of extension of the waiting period by approx 3-4 more months.

@Rogier21 Your category is PNP, I am not sure if the VOs use the same processing times for FSW and PNP categories.

Processing times for the PNP stream are different than economic applications under FSW. Check the CIC-Website regarding processing-times:

Thank you for sharing. This is kind of depressing.

Could you elaborate about your friend's timeline (date of application, PER, AOR)?
Did he apply under MI-3 FSW-1?
Did he receive the same kind of letter/email as you guys did in may (about the 4-7 months wait time)?
