It has been two weeks that CIC stopped showering PPR for phd stream and those other applicants whose VO is cpc-o. In these two weeks although there have been some DM,there have been only few (maybe only 2) cases who got PPR.

I guess they got hung up on EE that they forgot about us. After all they made such a fuss about super fast 6 month-processing time of EE and they must be trying to deliver it. For us processing time is supposed to be 24 month, so they have plenty of time... Disappointing...

It is because there is a group of May 27 PPR emails getting stuck due to the system glitch! There is a discussion on CPC-O forum.
I am one of them. I called the call centre and confirmed with the agent that they sent me the letter on May 27!
But I didn't receive anything, even in my spam.
If any of you notice you might be in the same situation, please contact them and ask to resend the email.

As you mentioned, probably they have focused on EE. I hope they re-start issuing PPR for us.
By the way, currently, the processing time has been decreased to 18 months.

I am really not sure. It is so frustrating. The agent told me it will take up to 3 months to process my request. I really don't know what to do.

In this situation local MP is the best option. Ask your local MP to follow up your case. Explain the situation and tell them that this is not usual to get DM and not RFV email.

If CIC had been sent RFV Email to us before ECAS update and we did not get it (this is the case for some of the FSW 2014 CPC-O), the 30 days time for sending Passport will be finished soon.

You can make the process faster by following up through your local MP.

Did you order GCMS notes recently ? For me and a lot of other Iranians on forum, files are sent to CPC-O Program Integrity after medical which means longer processing times.

I don't have accurate information about CPC-O Program Integrity, but according to CIC website it might be either security check, random check for internal office uses or any sort of double checking of the documents. As far as I could understand, there is nothing to worry about but it will probably lengthen the application processing time. Have your application also been sent to Program Integrity?

In the first step you just need to email them.
They will reply to your email and ask you to send some documents (Study permit and driver license for proof of address).

Thank you! I think I will try contacting them. So when choosing which mp to contact, should I look at their job responsibility or political orientation (for instance, I assume NDP member will have more sympathy for immigrants, but the one in my area is in charge of energy resources)....

The political side of MP is not important. All of the MPs have equal weight for such acts.
