For those who remember my case:

My CC got charged today finally :D (application reached CIO on Sept. 8)

And guess what, CIBC did not deactivate my old credit card. They caused me a lot of trouble by lying about deactivation date. But now it is all done. :)

Fresh news!

Do you remember I requested GCMS notes last week? Well, they came today :D. The reason why is because I wrote that I needed this file urgently since I have a due date to submit my PCC and I wasn't 100% sure if CPC Ottawa received them. ATIP department was so generous in sending GCMS notes today.

All remain the same but I found some interesting notes.

Criminality: Still in progress :( They received PCC on Nov 27, they forwarded to an officer for review and the last status was "in queue" for review by an officer.

All my GCMS notes requests were recorded in the PDF file. Interestingly, every time I requested them it says: Item Pulled from LOCATION: FSW Jan, Item scanned and returned to FSW Jan. Any idea what that means?

All emails I have exchanged with CPC Ottawa were copied and pasted at the end of the GCMS file, LOL, I will never email them again.

Finally the due date remains the same :(

Thanks for sharing Pepe,

From your note and others note I assume that criminality depends on your PCC and the RCMP screen that CIC asks for it. Security is something else. Correct?

Yes, criminality depends on PCC and RCMP only. My RCMP screening was completed but the officer hasn't reviewed my PCC from my home country :(

What do you think about "Item pulled from FSW Jan for scanning". I am not a January applicant if Jan means January. Also there are new officer codes handling my file. The office who assessed my file for eligibility has not touched it anymore.

That may mean "Jan" for "assess for PPR in January 2015". :)

Hi pepe84,

did you also apply for spouse?

Hi Guys,

I saw that CIC has updated number of applicants that so far they have received for all the FSW categories on Dec 11. However, they haven't updated this number for PhD stream since Novemver 19.
Does this mean they stopped processing PhD stream applicants for a while and that's why they didn't update the number? I know some Sep 23rd applicant mentioned he has been charged recently. Maybe they have started again :-?

Yes, it came all together! I had to fill a consent form though. The last update of my GCMS file was today :D so as of today no final decision yet :(

Darkknight1 can you check what was the last location of your file? It is under PAPER FILE TRANSFER HISTORY

Can other people also check their last location of your application files? I am just trying to discover if FSW Jan means that my file will be finalized in Jan 2015.

I will share here all the locations of my file, starting from the latest and ending with the oldest. I will not reveal the VO codes.

- LOCATION: (VO code) - Dec 15
- LOCATION: FSW Jan - Nov 27
- LOCATION: (VO code) - Oct 31
- LOCATION: FSW - CA REC PASSED - Oct 27
- LOCATION: (VO code) - Oct 24
- LOCATION: HD 3 - Oct 23
- LOCATION: REGISTRY- Oct 23
- LOCATION: In Transit from CIO - Oct 14
- LOCATION: A87 - FSW (CIO) - Oct 06 (Exactly when I got the PER)

I dont have "FSW Jan" and "FSW - CA REC PASSED".

What are these?

I have no idea but I can tell you that when it says a VO code, it means that your application is being handled by a VO. My application was with a VO the last few days because of the ATIP request only, that's why I can see what was the the actual location of my file at CPC-O (FSW Jan), you should probably see it in your next GCMS notes because I couldn't see it either in the previous one I got.
