Again to be positive, if you apply in early January, you will be one of the top seeds in the pool and will be asked to apply for PR on last week of January ( as website says) and after applying you will be PR in less than 6 months ( again as website says).

Sorry, i dont get you. in fact, i am not quite confident with my score per se. i have neither LMIA nor PNP, so dont have that 600 point bonus. So, based on your understanding, why is my case a good seed?

Nice to hear that. In response to your request: My first GCMS notes received on Nov 07 do have the section FINALIZE APPLICATION. If you are just looking for this section by using the search tool of your Acrobat, you will not be able to find it because this is a locked PDF. So you have to look at it carefully, like I said it should be on pages 16 or 17.

If your friend got PPR on Dec 11, there is a chance CPC Ottawa has now focused on FSW PhD stream because they certainly stopped with CEC and PNP categories a month and a half ago.

What is supposed to be written in the "FINALIZE APPLICATION" section, because in mine it is written:

FINALIZE APPLICATION

DOCUMENT ISSUANCE: 0


REFUSAL GROUNDS
What does refusal grounds mean? It just freaks me out.

I mean if they accept your work experience as RA and TA, then you would have Canadian work experience and this helps you to go to top of the pool for FSW class.

To be honest, I do not know if work during full time study will still be considered as a full time job or not. Thats why I am saying nobody can judge about the new system until it comes.

One of my friends (January 2014 applicant), got medical late November and he got PPR on Dec 11th (almost 2 weeks after medical).
Category: Under PhD stream.

Therefore we probably cannot say that they do not process PhD stream applications now. It a matter of time.

He never asked for GCMS. He is a super relaxed guy.

Nope! CPC-Ottawa will not ask for passports until they finish the assessment of all incoming files from CIO! (My guess)

i got a vague reply.

Do you think they may delay us if we email them? I am scared so after my PCC issues I have decided not to email them again

Should we also ask for physical file in GCMS?
does it have any extra info or same as electronic?

For spouse GCMS, do we need to do anything else other than attaching the consent form?
