Also I heard they change the due date when it has passed and if you have not received PPR. So I also want to see how far they put my due date forward.

I have an old GCMS for my previous application. I am looking at it. I searched the whole 26 pages and I could not find the word "finalize". Maybe the version is updated. Thanks anyway.

I ordered the free one. There is a section called FINAL DECISION that I am really looking forward to seeing when my dear visa officer will touch that section.

Whats the difference between free one and one with 5 dollars cost? i ordered 5 dollars one, i got it after one month,

You can order it any time. Since we all got our medical request, we ordered it to see if our eligibility was really passed or not.

After getting file number (PER), you can apply for GCMS. before that, it is impossible.

One update:

One of my friends (January 2014 applicant), got medical late November and he got PPR on Dec 11th (almost 2 weeks after medical).
Category: Under PhD stream.

Therefore we probably cannot say that they do not process PhD stream applications now. It a matter of time.

Nice to hear that. In response to your request: My first GCMS notes received on Nov 07 do have the section FINALIZE APPLICATION. If you are just looking for this section by using the search tool of your Acrobat, you will not be able to find it because this is a locked PDF. So you have to look at it carefully, like I said it should be on pages 16 or 17.

If your friend got PPR on Dec 11, there is a chance CPC Ottawa has now focused on FSW PhD stream because they certainly stopped with CEC and PNP categories a month and a half ago.

Yes. At least we know that they ask for PP for Phd Stream for some cases. I hope this trend continues.

I am not sure if you are misunderstood or I am mistaken. From your previous comment you said my friend got MEDICAL on Dec. 11th. But he got PPR on Dec. 11th.

Question: what is my chance to go thru FSW-PhD via Express Entry?

Express entry has not come yet. No applicant has gone through it. So all the judgements will be a kind of guess. They may be very fair, or they may be very strict at first. It is just a beginning of a new system and it takes time for all to get better knowledge about it.
Positively thinking, you will get as many points as you get with current system and it would be faster and easier for you since you have Canadian experience (RA and TA).
