I got them around 5pm eastern time :( You are still on time.

Thanks.

Many thanks for the info. I was exploring the link and it is actually to authorize someone else to release information on my behalf. Although the spouse name is also included in the form, I am quite unsure how I can fill this form if I am the person who will be making the request. Any suggestions?

You can't see your spouse information, unless you submitted an authorization letter when u r applying for GCMS. This is weird but thats how it works.

Here is the link for consent form to get the information about ur spouse status

Hi All,

I am super stressed about my application:

Can I use just use TA letter or I need both TA and RA to apply for PR under NOC 4012 Post-secondary teaching and research assistants?

Anybody was successful with just one? this is my only work experience!

Best

You can for sure apply with only TA. But your TA should be continuous and it should be equivalent to at least one year of full time work experience.

Re: Re

Hey guys, my GCMS file in the third page under "client details" says: Counterfoil Required: NO

My country is not Visa Exempt, so how is possible that they said I do not require a counterfoil Visa? Or is that counterfoil another thing I am unaware of?

Sorry I haven't ever fill up the consent form myself but don't worry about this. Let it go, nothing basically in our hand. GCMS is helpful sometime when some unusual action is going to take by the CIC, e.g., if you submit some document or if they don't asses your points properly.

Its not necessary to submit two different letter. You basically need a letter from your supervisor or department manager where it says you have done the RA/TA work (plz make sure your letter specially mentioned substantial duties which match NOC4012), include the hours (follow the required information mentioned in the document checklist for work experience). Also mention specifically that you have assists your supervisor as a Research Assistant.
Noc 4012 main duties..............

Hi! Thank you for the quick response, can you please tell me if people were accepted with only TA as work experience? I have no other experience. Just TA and it is based on NOC requirements for TA. I can ask my supervisor to add RA to my work as I did little RA but I thought the CIC office may think it is bragging...

No Pepe, you right about the Counterfoil, if you are not from visa exempt country then I should say it is unusual. Could be a technical error and hopefully you will see it get fixed in ur next GCMS

Hi-- My application was refused due to not providing the work experience information explicityly. I had some experience from my home country beside my RA/TA but that letter did not clarifies my job responsibilities in a way NOC job description mentioned in the CIC web site. Moreover, my RA experience was also not considered due to the phenomenal word "assists". Anyway, i could appeal but felt it would be more time consuming than the re-applicaiton. Hopefully, this time it will work out.

What was wrong with "assists"?

Not sure but I think someone before used only TA and he was successful. If you also can get RA, get it too. But if your RA is not as goo as your TA, select TA as your primary occupation.

I also want to know...

No GCMS notes yet. :(

Is today the day number 30 after you ordered them? Remember November has only 30 days, not 31, so if you ordered GCMS on the 10th of Nov, they should arrive tomorrow.
