UCI is your unique identification number and it never changes, which means a UCI was assigned to you wher you applied for study permit and it's still the same in ur PR application. It's an 8-digit number in thr following format: xxxx-xxxx.
You can find it in your study permit (or PER email) right below application number.

Thanx viva2014. I didn't find an email address for them that's the reason why I haven't sent an email yet.

Also I believe they will be intuitive enough to place emphasis on the card Number which surely depicts the card type and not the checked box of card type. By just entering the card number the card type is already implied.

But we all know 'CIC' these days. They expect a 'perfectly flawless' application!

I wasn't able to track down my case with my UCI, that's why I thought there might be another UCI from CIC.

I think you need to wait a bit. Ecas shows just two-three days before you get PER email. I got PER email on dec-2, tuesday and my ECAS was active from sunday onwards. BTW I am 11 Aug applicant and my CC was charged on 16th Nov

Hi kamranj, I hope you have updated documents. Also note that you dont need to stress out. Lets imagine all the Sept applicants are charged or even CIC attempted to charge you with your old card and transaction got declined... Still, you are in the game. Becoz, cic tries ur credit card atleast three times before return your application. So even if they tried your cc, they will keep your file on hold and will try after a week or two. In between I am sure they got your updated form.

Thanks for your reply pg123. I have tried to update my CC info using couple of methods mentioned in forum. The thing is my old card is still active until the end of this week. And it is weird that I am hearing nothing from CIO. I know a couple of friends from mid September who are not charged yet.

My suggestion for you: Go to your local MP and ask him/her to contact cic and follow up you case.

Actually Viva's suggestion is also pretty good, you can go to ur local MP office, talk to PA, they will enquire with CIC and they will get reply in a day. Because the cic has to respond MP office in very short time... Try it.....

What was wrong with "assists"?

In your work experience letter (for RA/TA) it has to be mentioned specifically that you have assists your supervisor (for RA) and/Or you have assisted University Prof. (for TA). It was not there in my first application. So, please be very specific on this.
