It was assigned to FA01772 after first doc request back in July 2013.
So, it was first assigned to FA01772, then to DS01608 and again to FA01772??

Hey guys,

I need your help ASAP. Does anybody know if the work experience from your home country counts for PhD stream application?

Thanks,

Thanks a lot, but why do they ask if I have had at least one year of full time work experience "IN CANADA"?

Please help, I am becoming desperate with this. Also, could you provide a link where I can verify if the work experience from my home country also counts?

Thanks a lot my friend!

I checked my previous GCMS notes. My application was never assigned to DS01608. DS01608 only recommended my application to be passed. FA01772 is responsible for final assessment and usually accepts the recommendation.

had a question for all those who got the passport request and sent in their passport...

i got the following thing from CIC...

"If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your passports through the mail, we strongly recommend that you purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet. CPC-Ottawa accepts no responsibility for any passport lost in the mail.

- Complete the mailing label on one envelope showing your mailing address in the “Deliver To” field.

- Keep a tracking number sticker from each envelope.

- Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter."

My question is:
1) did you buy two LETTER sized envelopes or one letter sized and one standard size (standard size is smaller than letter size)...
2) If you bought both letter sized envelopes...did you actually fold it and put it inside like how they mentioned???

I know these questions might be stupid but I would appreciate an answer....thanks...

I have one question concerning Reference Letter: Are there some applicants have successfully gotten their PR using TA/RA references without dated? I mean, not specifying the a starting/ending date, but only with Month and Year?

Thank you~

I mailed my passport for VISA before. You can buy a big one and a small one or two small one (standard size). For the two small one, one can be folded into the other one with your passport. Do remember to write your address on the right position. I bought the two small one, they are cheaper than bigger one.

I don't know. But, I think recently there was a case of rejection because of this reason. You don't have any time to waste. If possible update it immidiatly ( don't change it just add days) and send it by email to be safe. Also make sure it has a date on the top.

In my GCMS I noticed that there is only Research assistant (4012) in page 4 under section NOC and Occupation. But I applied under both Pharmacist 3131 and RA 4012. I couldn't see pharamcist 3131 any where in the GCMS. Is that a problem? Did they miss noticing my other reference letter? Can I just email them about it? ???

Please suggest. Thank you.
