Hi guys, I have also been asked to submit banking history and proof of funds. This has become fairly routine now. Nothing to do with the applicants nationality. I have been given 30 days time to respond.

I need some advice. I am short of the required 11K amount by about 3k. I had loaned my brother 2.5 K in december and he is also in Canada. So we have bank transaction records. I am planning to ask him for the money, which he will return. I hope this doesn't count as a "sketchy" deal when I show CIC my proof of funds. What do you guys think?
I think you better to add a letter (which your brother should write to CIC) with your bank statement that your brother gifted you that money, otherwise CIC will still consider this as loan and it is strictly mention that you can not borrow the money.
Good luck

Dear ...

I have now completed the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa as a skilled worker. I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

Subsection 75(2)

You can submit a new application. Get the work experience documents or ref. updated in order to meet the description requested in the application guide.

what is the difference between there two link

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=4&val1=4012&val65=*

I would rather follow the second link, it is for NOC 2011.

Hi, I am a newbie in this thread,
I have an serious problem,

I have just sent my application out a few days ago,
and today I receive a call from my VISA card company saying my VISA card have been used by someone else; therefore they will send me a new card with NEW card number!!

However, I already send my application package with the old, now useless, credit card.
What should I do?

I have called the CPP office several times, no one answer the phone.
:(

Three options:
1) send to CIO via mail and email.
2) send to Cpp via email, fax and mail.
3) send a new application to CIO

For options 1 & 2 please include in your letter the following information:

• who are you (Applicant, Authorized Representative, Designated Individual, Canadian MP )

• the subject of your message

• full name of the applicant (SURNAME, Given names)

• date of birth of the applicant (day/month/year)

• enquiry type (General; Family Class Immigration; Business Immigration; Skilled Worker Immigration; Visitor; Student; Worker; Refugee)

• file number in our office (if you have received one) - letter followed by 9 digits

• any other identity number that a Citizenship & Immigration Canada office has given you (for example, Client ID number – 8 digits)

Ok guys I think I'm screwed. I got the email about the funds. I have to give them a 6 month bank statement. I do not have that kind of money. I have not had it in the past 6 months (is it 6 month from the date of the email they just sent?).
I think my only option right now is to withdraw my application. This will be the 2nd time they reject it (first time I was missing worked hours).
I will then either go the sponsorship road (my common-law is Canadian) or the PNP one (I will be eligible once I defend my thesis since I have a position that will turn into a permanent one once I graduate).

I have to say that I fee a bit depressed

Hi,
Could you please add my information:
Application reached CIO: March 5,2012
PER issued: June 18,2012
Current eCAS status: In Process
No. of person in application: 2
Nationality: Iran

Thank you.

You applied in July 2012 right? You don't have that amount of money together with your boyfriend, right? You could try to arguee that you have a job offer, but there isn't much you can do unfortunately.

I applied in May 2012 and got PER in June 2012. My boyfriend and I will become common-law in June (1 year lived together) so it will be too late for the funds.
As I see it, the case officers proceed in a mechanical, inhuman manner (I don't mean that in a negative way, what I mean is they take our the human side out of the process, documentation) and they will look at my 6 month statement, assess that I do not have the money and that's that. I can argue all I want, state that my job position will be permanent when I complete my program (it's written in my job offer) but this is all in the future and only a mere "maybe" to them. They play by the book, by the letter and the comma, and unfortunately I do not fit in their manual.

I will write them a withdrawal letter and go a different road. PNP for my country takes 5 months so it's not the end of the world. What bugs me is the amount of money I spent on these applications: if I had applied more carefully I would have the *beep* money by now >:(
Anyway, you guys better be ready to show the funds for the entire process. Good luck to all of you! :D

Take care. If you click on that link with 4011 on the end, it takes to NOC 4012. If you put the wrong NOC will you get rejected for job mismatch. Pay a lot of attention
