Very important this sentence guys: Evidence of account activity for the past six months must also be submitted.

You guys better start saving money if you don't have enough in your account!

All these happened in 2012.

I have 2 applicants, TA plus past work experience.

Does that solve the problem on spreadsheet?

My OHIP application got denied

Confirmed from the Ministry of Health Ontario,

With the PER only, they won't consider you eligible for OHIP card.

I don't know if you guys have tried applying for OHIP.

But that is my experiment. Hope this saves time for other PhDs.

You guys have no health insurance in Ontario? Crazy.

Hi moonbow2010, as suspected, you received your PER on March 21, not when your credit card got charged. This has been fixed now. Also, when did you get your CC charged if you still remember it?

This is actually a good news, though it makes me a bit nervous since I only attached 3 months of bank account activities when I applied back in February :( It seems though that either Ottawa or Buffalo won't issue 2nd AOR, so the early applicants should probably expect similar emails from them soon (or even medical requests hopefully) without any AOR from them.

Well, we're not qualified for OHIP, but international students usually are obliged to purchase school's insurance :)

MASSOUD, any changes on the ECAS status?

Ejamal, you got you per before Massoud, no communication from CIC so far then?

I'm wondering about this too. Unless he already submitted the 6-month long transaction, then most likely the CIC would demand it from him as well. Also, it seems to me that MASOUD2011's file was transfered to CPP-Ottawa without any notice. My friend, who applied through PNP last year told me that both Buffalo and Ottawa gave AOR's at the time they received his applications, so the system might have changed a bit compared to last year (some visa offices, I heard, do not issue AOR at all, so could this be the case here as well?).

Nothing at all! The last thing was the PER.
Also, I only submited a bank statement. I didnt send anything showing my personal transactions for the preceding six months.

Why you think there won't be AOR from Buffalo or Ottawa? Just because it's been taking so long already?

They may be just rechecking documentation before sending to Buffalo. We know that they will recheck everything. Hopefully, it will be Ottawa for must part to the process before being
sent to VO for visa stamping. Then, by the end of the year we all be PRs. And in two years from now I'm renouncing my first citizenship :P
