Does the experience letter has to be in the original or a photocopy?

Email copy works. But its up to you to send the original one.

Guys, when you sent Ottawa some documents through e-mail, how long after you followed it up to see if it was attached to your application? A week ago I sent them my account history proactively to be attached to my old application. Now, I am wondering if it was attached or was missed like my additional reference letter.

Did they ask you to provide your bank statement? if yes this means that they accepted your old application. AND if I were you I would send by mail too and keep the receipt. Or just send another email and ask them to confirm that they received your documents.

I think a week is a reasonable amount of time to wait. I mailed them docs and after a week emailed them to ask if they have received it and they quickly replied yes. Your case it's e-mail so it should be faster.

I sent them an email regarding the error in my application assessment (IELTS exam evaluation) today. I sent the same documents by mail as well.

I sent my documents on April 12th, they received those on 15th, and updated my application on April 18th. I found out this from my CAIPS.

What did you send them? A supplementary reference letter?

Hey Guys:

I have a big concern that I dont know what to do with it.
Lets say somebody got medically inadmissible due to excessive demand. The person currently living in Canada and is a PhD student. if he gets medically inadmissible in his PR application, what might happen later?
- is it possible CIC reject you for temporary visa application later if I apply within Canada
- Is it possible CIC reject me later if I apply for postgraduate work permit after finishing PhD

So confusing that I dont want to make a risk and go for medical. What do you think?

Honestly speaking this is really a complicated issue. One of my friend had this experience. I can share that story, my friend has a sister who had some medical issues (they applied in family class), CIC gave them a choice either you can withdraw your application or you have take to the responsibility of all medical expenses of your sister. Canadian Govt. won't bear any medical expenses for her, if you agree then we can give you the visa. They agreed and got the visa without her health coverage. It happened in 2009/10 I guess. Hope this will make u to feel better.
I suggest you better to go for medical and face the situation.

Hey Dani, after sending the documents when did you order for your CAIPS again? I submitted a updated reference letter on 23rd May and now thinking to order for CAIPS.

Have they started your eligibility assessment yet? What document request? Did you ever receive any?

I sent these documents proactively, they did not request anything. Based on my CAIPS , they did not touch my application after December 2012 unless they update my application with my supporting documents. They received all my supporting documents. They did not start any of the assessment, criminality, and medical procedures on my application. I think I have to wait 3 more months.
