You'll be fine, man They will definitely give you the five points for your Canadian son (your wife's education would be a different story, but these points won't matter at all since all you need is 67 points), and even if they only award you one year of experience, you'll get above 67 points, so I don't see any reason to worry as far as adaptability points are concerned

As chakri264 said, I bet you right now the CIO is bombarded by thousands of applications from all over the world (remember that every applicant needs to send their complete application package to the CIO for initial eligibility review, even if they choose different visa offices to do the actual assessment). I would say give it another two or three weeks. Have you tried contacting the call center by the way?

There is something that is called PRIORITY. even if they are too busy with the new applications, the received my application before May 4. So, my application must be prior to all of them.

And yes, I called them, they said they can not do anything about it, I have to wait for 6 weeks , then EAMIL CIO. But I have tried to contact CIO anyways, but in the website they mentioned "you will not get any response if you do not wait atleast for 6 weeks."

Priority is meaningless for them man. All May applicants have been contacted so far. This is while I have no idea what is going on my application which was submitted in March .

All we can do now is wait for your GCMS notes I guess. When did you apply again? You will, most likely, get them within 30 days, and I hope you applied for them after your status changed back to "in process" so that we can hopefully see some movement on your notes.

As per OP6B (sadly no longer there for OP6C), we know that they have to consider work experience between date of submission and assessment for which you have submitted documentation, and I know full well that it has worked for some applicants, so I think it will work for you as well. How many years of TA/RA would you need, and how many did you claim?

I applied for CAIPS a week ago. I have got 76 points according to Sydney. So far, we know that they accept any additional documentation if sent before their date of decision. My 2nd letter has all the information they look for, so I am not that worried about it. I hope they will contact me before CAIPS.

hey guys...i got my CAIPS notes yesterday (i ordered it on April 30th)...apparently my file was assessed by ottawa twice!...the first time (April 15, 2013)they didnot consider my second reference letter (by the way, i sent in my second letter on April 3rd, 2013 and it says in the CAIPS that it was updated/added to my file on April 4th, 2013), and then they assessed my file again on April 23rd and this time considered both my reference letters and found me eligible!...but then again i didn't get any correspondence from them till May 16th and since these caips were ordered on April 30th i don't have any info on what happened between these dates!..

Do you mean to say CPP-O did not acknowledge your work experience during their first assessment?

yeah I know that they are not gonna respond if we apply within past 6 weeks.. But just to be on safe side I did email them.

Guys, when you sent Ottawa some documents through e-mail, how long after you followed it up to see if it was attached to your application? A week ago I sent them my account history proactively to be attached to my old application. Now, I am wondering if it was attached or was missed like my additional reference letter.
