I really need to recall for all the details. But once I got it, I will post it in the thread. Thanks. I remembered that they received my files on Dec.28, 2011.

Would you share with us your timeline? Date of application and PER, nationality, number of applicants, ecas status, and kind of work experience.

Anyway, as you notice in the tracker, some applicants who sent their applications on Jan 2012 were requested to provide POF and/or Police certificates in Jan 2013; until now, they didn't get the medical request. It takes time, do not worry!

If you check your eCas status, and if it says something like "We started processing your application etc etc", I would say that they have already accepted your POF and number of points, and are currently doing criminality check. Can you share what's written on your eCas?

Thanks a lot, man. Anyway, I will give them a call first on Monday or Tuesday.

What is eCas?......Do you mean you can use the client number to check the application status for permanent residency?

I recalled that I checked it yesterday it was still "in process". ...

Here is my timeline:

buffalo got my application on Dec. 28, 2011.
NER received on March 26, 2012
NER changed to PER on April 13, 2012
POF request on Jan 9, 2013

I sent them my proof of graduation in Nov 2012. So I think I got the 5 adaptability points.

Thanks. Could anyone put my info in the tracker?

By the way, I am from China. Use TA/RA as working experience.
In the website, it still says in process. Is this the eCas?

eCAS: the electronic service of Client Application Status. To see the details of your application, click on the underlined status.
You'll get something like this " We received your application for permanent residence on ......

We started processing your application on..... or any other details.

Asbereth, TyrusX and Websphereguy are the admins; hopefully, they'll update the spreed sheet with your timeline sooner.

I just checked the website. I think there is a technical glitch.

After I put my client number into the system, it says "in process". After I clicked that, it says we received your application for permanent residence on Dec 28,2011.

Do you think I need to call them as soon as possible? Maybe scanned POF is fine to them? Thanks.

That is no glitch. That is the way things are. If you have just the first line that probably means you are still under assessment.

Does it mean my scanned POF sent through email is fine.

Most likely you have passed the selection factor (since they most likely have considered your PhD and grant you the 5 adaptability points), but POF is another thing that they consider when they're evaluating eligibility, so before you can pass eligibility, you need to have enough number of points AND enough money for settlement funds.

The second line on eCas usually indicates the day you pass eligibility, and for a lot of people in our stream, they get medical usually one day after the day indicated on eCas. Some people (Shomo is one example) passed eligibility, but they haven't received medical yet as the process got stuck in criminality check. Check the following link for more information on eCas status

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/step-by-step-processing-of-fsw-application-by-cio-and-vo-t137628.0.html

Did you have enough money for the past six months, and what POF did you send them? Any unexplainable large deposits within the last 6 months? What is the condition of your bank account when you sent them the statements?

Anyway, I think now is the time to order your CAIPS notes. It would be interesting to see the movements within your application.

I honestly don't think there is any reason to think that there is any problem with the scanned POF (since it is acceptable to submit copies of POF as per the new checklist), but I still think it's not a bad idea to send them the actual POF through regular mail, while waiting for their response.
