Can anyone tell me when is the best time to order GCMS from CIC as i have applied on Nov 18, 2014 and received my PER on Feb 9 2015. Would it affect my processing time if i order GCMS anytime?

Thanks.

I have a question: why do you want to order GCMS? What is it for? I am at the same process as you...Thanks for your answer.

In the GCMS note you can figure out whatever has been done on your file up to now.

Yes, the visa office (and not the CIO) may ask for additional documents at any point, before or after medical examinations. In your case, since you have not sent your police clearance, they will ask for it for sure, once they select you as a member of the federal skilled worker class (i.e. you pass the minimum requirements, and the selection criteria).

Hi Guys, I am following up this question and was wondering if they ask us additional documents such as experience letter and more documentation regarding bank statements after they issue PER (I received PER Email recently). Although i haven't sent police clearance certificate along with application which is the last document before medical i guess. Please clarify.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Cantaloupe.. So i am understanding that VISA office at Ottawa will evaluate my application again to ensure that i meet the minimum requirements, and other selection criteria such as work experience, bank statements, and other related documents. Does anyone know or aware of conflicts between CIO sydney and VISA Office Ottawa regarding the assigning the points for eligibility review. Can anyone clarify.

Thanks!

Hi guys today I went to landing at rainbow bridge. It went really very nice. Everything took just 30 mins. USA officers are really nice. I just said we are here for landing and he gave me refusal letter. Went back to Canadian side, officer gave me yellow paper. After that IO took 10 mins and congratulated us. IO asked us bank statements and I showed them latest bank statement then he said Ok.

Congratulations when did you send and received your passport?

Got PER on Feb 10, and want to send updated documents to CIC before an experienced VO handles my case.
Question is what address of CIC I should use, i.e. what place I should mail these documents to.
Thanks for ur time :)

I don't know why they stopped charging after the Feb 4th. is it possible the cap is reached?

I'm afraid but it could be, mine got reached 5th Dec, no cc charge yet..

Hi Gavin,
This page says about CPC Ottawa address:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp

But may I know what documents you would like to send? The PER letter said "Please do not forward additional documents unless requested." Can one still send docs in advance like PCC?

Hi guys

I am currently in Canada and i have applied for an RCMP certified criminal record check with finger prints and have requested RCMP to send the results in paper format to me. Any ideas how long does it take to receive those record checks ? On RCMP's website, it is mentioned that for submitted Electronic fingerprint applications and if there aren't any records for me, the results will take about 3 days to come up and that i should allow for additional time for canada post ? Is it true ?

Since they didn't update the number of applicants after the Nov 19th, we don't know what happened. I am also a Dec 5th applicant.

I am seeing that gavin (just check above Gavin's thread) applied on Nov 20th and got his PER already on Feb 10th. Dont worry guys, there will be a downpour of CC Charge soon. Wait for your turn, Be optimistic!

Can anyone clarify this? Correct me please if i am wrong. I have received PER recently from CIO-Sydney. And now, The VISA office-Ottawa will evaluate my application again to ensure that i meet the minimum requirements, and other selection criteria such as work experience, bank statements, and other related documents. Does anyone know or aware of conflicts between CIO sydney and VISA Office Ottawa regarding the assigning the points for eligibility review.

Also would it be recommended to maintain the same or sufficient balance in your bank account, However there will be some fluctuations. who knows when they will ask you show the sufficient amount in your bank account. Any idea in this regard is much appreciated.

Thanks!
