Here is how to order GCMS notes, please read everything before starting making the request. Your wife/husband may need to fill a form (if you are married).

"How to order GCMS notes:
1. Click on this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp
2. Click on “apply online” then click on “next”
3. Click on “I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice.” And then click on “continue”
4. Please select the Department where you would like to submit an Access to Information or Privacy request: Citizenship and Immigration
5. To be eligible to make a request, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada. Please select the category that best describes you: Individual or corporation currently present in Canada
6. Fill your personal info
7. Are you requesting information on your own behalf?: Yes
8. Select the category that best describes you: Academia
9. How would you prefer to receive the requested records?: E-MAIL
10. Click on “next or continue”
11. Please select the Act under which you are submitting the request: Privacy act
12. Which type of records do you wish to request?: Case Files
13. Requesting information for: Fill your personal info and UCI number
14. What type of information would you like to request?: Notes in electronic file
15. File Type: Immigration file: Permanent resident
16. Click on “continue or next”
17. Additional documents (if you are married, otherwise no need to upload any document): Your wife will have to fill a consent form and sing it, scan it and you will attach it when requesting GCMS in the field additional documents. I assume you are the PA.

To find the consent form: Google this: ATIP consent form and select the first PDF that pops up.

She will have to fill section A and C only. Do not fill section B because you are the PA and you will be the individual making the request. Do not fill section D either if you do not have a dependent younger than 18 years old.

18. Click on continue and that's it."

Thanks for info. If we do not upload the consent form, still we will get the GCMS but the info for the spouse would be hidden. Right?

Thanks Pepe and Zorro. I got my per this past Thursday. When do you think would be a good time for ordering gcms so that it shows some progress?

Now, It is a good time to order it. Because it takes about one month to receive it and in the first one perhaps you will see the evaluation results by CIO. Good luck!

I know how it feels, so many congrats!

The most exciting moments for me were when I got my CC charged and when I received the ready for visa email!
