Hi guys, after 5 months of waiting, I finally received a "Ready for Visa" email earlier today (oddly enough the email said it was the second request, and there was no update on my CIC profile) and they ask me to send passport, does that mean after this step I will get PR?

Thank you. Looks like FSW inlanders who have applied on the first half of November are getting PPR now. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I have been following this forum for a long time and would like to share my timeline.

My timeline:

Category : FSW Inland
ITA : 2 October 2015
AOR : 3 November 2015
RPRF : Paid upfront
Medicals Passed : Novemeber 2015
Background check in progress : April 2016
PPR : 15 April 2016

As i had applied in CEC also before EE came in to effect but my case was rejected. So again applied under FSW Inland and everything went smoothly.

I had submitted for a change in the visa post(for submitting my passports for stamping post PPR) from ottawa to any available post/VFS centers in India (Since I am living here currently). How long does CIC usually take to respond to this request?

I got an e-mail (Ghost mail) saying that my account is updated and theres nothing when i checked. This is the first activity on my profile after 4.5 months. Im a FSW Outlander AOR November 20th. Also i paid RPRF upfront.
What do you guys think about the ghost mail? Any ideas and similar situations?

Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Passed
Review of submitted documents - No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not Started
