There is a lot of applicants from October that are still waiting. I am one of them. Hoping for lots of PPRs this week.....Good luck!!!!!

Sadly October, November applicants are left behind and ignored. Have see so many Dec,Jan,Feb applicants getting PPR while we wait.

hi.we need some advise. ??? ???.me and my husband apply for express entry last august 2015..we already passed all the requirements like WES(ECA) and Ielts..and we already have our EE Profile..we only have 358points, but the latest draw was 468points..we asked our agency if theres any thing we can do to increase our points..we are worried because our application will expire on august 2016..our agency said that we need employer to help us..how can we do that?

i applied for GCMS notes on april 7th and received them on april 29th, the following day ( april 30) , not sure if this is a mere coincidence , i got my BG status changed to "in progress" . is there an approximate number of waiting period before i get the PPR . My wife is travelling out of country on 23rd May and i would like to know how many days would it usually take for the passport to come back to us . is there a special request that we could make to get the passport faster . or would it be possible to extend the number of days given for the passport to be submitted . i hear its usually 15 days and it would be a touch and go situation for my wife with her travel ahead. Please clarify .

IRCC gives you 30 days to submit your passports after PPR. IMO you can request them for an extension.

So would it be wiser to ask them for an extension instead of giving them a request to send the passport before the travel date ? my wife would be travelling to india , and when we request them for an extension , would it be possible to change the visa office for one of the applicants alone ?i would still be sending my passport to a visa office in canada and my wife would be sending to a visa office in india

Request for a change in VO for passport submission is possible.

You can request for an extension and also change of visa office. Just send an email at the id on your PPR and you will hear back from them. In some cases it takes time, but you get another 30 days from the day you get the PPR with new instructions.

Just make sure that you are clear in your email that only the applicants VO has to be changed and that the PA will submit the PP at Ottawa. I have seen and assisted a lot of other applicants do the VO change successfully.

So today we received our passports back with visa stamp and COPR. ALHAMDULILAH

My complete timeline is as below:

Scores: 463 with spouse
Category: FSW
ITA: 2nd Oct 2015
File Submitted: 6th Nov 2015
AOR: 7th Nov 2015
Medical Passed: 10th Nov 2015
BG in progress: 5th April 2016 (After a long silent wait)
PPR: 12th April 2016
Passport Submitted to VFS: 13th April 2016
CIC status closed and approved: 29th April 2016
Passport received back: 2nd May 2016

A long hefty journey of getting approval has come to an end but a different kind of fear has replaced everything. Hope to get through easily. INSHALLAH
