Hi All,

We (me & my wife) have VISA(thingy stamped on PASSPORT) valid till September 2016. Our PR(EE -CEC -Inland) application is in process. Also, OPEN WORK PERMIT(extra document on landing) issued for my wife & Visa of kid expires on SEPT 16, 2016. But my WORK PERMIT IS till Jan, 2017.

So, my question is when We should apply for BRIDGE PERMITS, since it seems PR will take time . Seems, atleast for my wife & kid , I may need to apply for Bridge, right ? Please guide me... Thanks in advance.

March - AOR - Hopefully you wouldn't even have to apply for Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP), since 6 months time frame will be august.

you can apply for visa extension for your family in Sept 2016, since your work permit validity is 2017 Jan (only if you don't hear anything from IRCC on your PR application).

I ordered GCMS notes on April 11 (one month from AOR) but I received nothing so far!

Yes me too, I ordered mine 1month after AOR on April 15th through visafile.info, and nothing so far! I have been a bit concerned because most people nowadays receive theirs within 18days. When you applied for your GCMS did you request as "express entry" or "permanent residence"?

Same here, I ordered on 12th April under ''express entry'', which I believe is a mistake. I re-ordered one on 2nd May under '' permanent residence'', and waiting.

Yes, under "permanent residence" is the correct thing to do. I ordered on April 20 and got mine GCMS note on May 6.

Because I used visafile.info i cant really remember which if I selected EE or PR ??? but i think it ws PR
sigh I dont want to spend another $25 to order a new one

I ordered mine on 20 April and got them today (9 May).

Interestingly I ordered both EE and PR (after realizing that I wasn't supposed to order EE) and got 2 exactly same notes.

As expected, i got the schedule A request today. They ask me to complete one particular section. Do i need to complete all sections or one section is enough?

The same was with me. I just completed the requested sections, not all of them and uploaded it.

My case seems to confirm the guess that BG change from "in progress" to "not needed" is a good sign

You will get the notes on the email ID that you provided, doesn't matter whose it is.
