No.. you only find out during PPR or if you request GCMS notes after it has been transferred... But for us nmuntz it will be dreaded SPVO (São Paulo), which is the default for Brazil...extra slow and sure to add a few more months on our process :-(
I'm actually from Chile and as far a I know there is no visa office here, so I'm not sure. I think it's in Buenos Aires.. So GCMS notes it is.. In three months I'll request them :o

Yes, I was aware about Pre-ITA checks, thats why I referred only to post-ITA checks. ;D

Hoping yours and Aditi's case gets through soon. Cheers.

No, no ..they are all post ITA/AOR checks... Once you submit everything you get AOR then they do:
- R10 completness check
- E11.2 MEC - Miniminum Elegibilty Criteria checks (these have an extra step for PNPs)
- Medicals
Then your file gets redistributed (usually to local VO) where they will do the admissibility checks (misrepresentation, criminality, security, etc) - this stage is where PNP may (allegedly) get lighter checks and overtake some of the CEC/FSW candidates, but from the looks of things this is not the case.

Thanks for your positive wished! ;D

After living with a Brazilian roommate for almost 3 years I was able to learn some Portuguese :)
This wait is driving me insane..

To be honest I do not know exact details there. All I know is, that I do not have to send my passport, just the scan of the biometric page (which is already in my application and unless something unexpected .... But I was requesting my UCI, so I got answer for that.

Sorry to ask but why were you requesting your UCI number? Do you need that for anything?

I've seen in the WhatsApp group people commenting about signing up for CIIP in India, but where I'm from we don't have CIIP or anything along those lines I don't think...

How do you guys know which VO office will be processing your application?
Guessing according our Residency country. Sometimes you discover later that it is actually a different one (when you have to send passports for example).

Right I've a complex question for you... hehehe.

My wife and I both reside in Brazil and have Brazilian passports that require VISA, but we both have EU passports that are VISA exempt. So... When we get PPR will they request out Brazilian passports and issue us the maple leaf visa or just CoPR and tell us to usa our EU passports?

Any idea about PPR and people already with dual citizenship?

I'm expecting them to consider our Brazilian passports as primary and give us our VISAs on that... but hey... sometimes I fell like we need to expect the unexpected from IRCC.

You can assume that it will be the one which would serve your region/residence.

Any CEC guys here?

I am unsure if I committed a big mistake? For Proof of my work experience from May 2016-Dec 2016, I included a thorough reference letter signed and on letterhead with details required per CIC requirements + business card of my manager. I attached the latest 3 pay-stubs as well. I do not have T4 for this exp as T4 for 2016 will only be generated in second week of February 2017. This is normal in most companies and I hope CEC knows this.

My worry is, I only attached latest 3 pay-stubs. Did I have to attach all bi-weekly pay-stubs since date of starting the role? That file attachment would be insanely big. CIC gives no clear direction on this hence I assumed latest 3 :(. I would hope if they have any questions, they can call my manager or request for additional pay-stubs instead of rejection

Finally change on mine application today.
E-APR on 3dr of January

It changed from initial setup to this:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started

So I hope this is the sign, that the application was submitted to the local VO. And I hope it also means that Ontario has confirmed my PNP status. (I know that eligibility will only turn to passed after you get your COPR documents).

Congratulations Vensak. Did you reveive an email to advice you on your status updates?

Cool Vensak !! Félicitations ! :P J'avoue que j'attends avec impatience la validation de la visite médicale !
