When did you do your medicals?

I did them on 3rd of January as well. But they were completely uploaded only within a week (they were waiting for lab. results for blood and urine).

Yes, but for you I understand PPR is when you need to send a final scan of you PP (since EU doesn't need a Visa) and they will let you know when you can pick up your CoPR (or send that to you address). Right?

And why Vienna? Isn't there a consulate in Bratislava? Or do you live closer to the Austrian border making Vienna the closest capital to you?

Canada does not have its Embassies everywhere (sometimes they do have just honorary consuls). But even if they have, they put some of their offices to take care of whole region. For example even Germany belongs under Vienna office when it comes to Visa and immigration.

So only way I can safely assume that I got PR is when I receive PPR.
Since I already paid RPRF upfront I don't think I have that checkpoint anymore.

Seems like they are still processing 3rd Jan applications.

Good to know.. there is always hope! It just seems that they've processed people with AORs up to 3rd of Jan and then stopped processing everyone after that... The wait is driving me insane!

To be honest I do not know exact details there. All I know is, that I do not have to send my passport, just the scan of the biometric page (which is already in my application and unless something unexpected happens that page does not change). My husband however has to send his passport. So when the time will come I will see how is it done. I think there were some applicants from UK posting their letter that was requiring that last step.


What I think will be longest are the BG check. His country is kind of from your region (so I am awaiting "very fast" answers from their side)

And I did not get any ghost mails from my account. But I was requesting my UCI, so I got answer for that.

I'm 100% certain that you will get a PPR as your spouse doesn't have a visa exempt passport for Canada.
If one family member doesn't have visa exemption, CIC will request passport for everyone, everyone will get the COPR but only stick the visa to the non visa exempted passport.
However there won't be any additional delay as hey still have to mail the COPR document for landing.

it is indeed! 4-5 months seems to be quite an accurate estimate for now..

I got AOR on 9th Jan, but medical is still not passed or police check, is this okay? Does it take that much time, it's normal? ???

Still the majority of September AOR who got a touch of PPR shower belongs to either CEC or Inland or FSW (Ottawa).

Most of PNP & Outland applicants are still waiting!
