Just got a call from the clinic, she told me that CIC requested an additional test for me, because I had high pressure during the exam.

She told me it is totally normal and referred me to a cardiologist.

She uploaded them on the 4th of Jan.. I am hoping that this is a positive sign, meaning that the document check is done and they are checking medical

Took my meds on the 3rd of January, they were uploaded on the 4th.

I think that's excellent news! If I were a betting man I'd wager that your R10 tests are done.

High blood pressure is not something to worry about, talk to the cardiologist and see what he has to say about it.

Finally submitted my documents on 12th Jan 2017 and got AOR. Timeline is as follows:

Ontario Nomination-16 December 2016
ITA- 17 Dec 2016
Application submitted and AOR received : 12 January 2017

When are you doing additional check?

Is it normal that you have high blood pressure? Reason I am asking, my colleague who got to CA March last year had a high blood pressure, as far as i know, he was then told if the blood pressure is under control (medication) then its fine. etc.

I kinda feel if there's a problem with one application, they also hold it and send it to a second person for reviewing purpose.

I don't think they do that with the initial checks. I think the aim of the R10 check is to as ruthlessly efficient as possible. So they will check to see if you've uploaded ALL required DOCS, if not BOOT! Then they will check the content of the DOCS, does the ref letter look like a ref letter, is there at least one PCC and is it in color, etc..

I think they are all simple checks executed by low level staff to be as cheap as possible, because if the app gets cancelled at this stage then the candidate gets a full refund... So they can't afford to spend the time of the more expensive senior people on this.

As they move on then the checks get more complex and in-depth, they will check the contents of the reference letter to make sure that all they need is there, these are executed by senior people and by this stage your application has clocked sufficient analytical hours to be problem for them to cancel so their option is to reject it (so you don't get a refund) or work with you asking for more supporting documents to satisfy them.

I think that's why you see a lot of cancelled apps right at the beginning and as you move on you'll see them more willing to work some thing out.

Looking at the November thread I can see lots of people getting their Meds Passed status NOW.... Yes that's right, only NOW! 2 months after their AOR...

If we take into consideration that in Nov they hadn't started with the huge draws then it stands to reason that for many of us it may actually take longer..

Oh well... I think I'll go open a beer and try to forget about EE for 3 months...

On monday noon
The dr saw that it was high during the check up, she took some extra blood for a Creatinine test, since they ask for it when the blood pressure is high,
Everything was okay. But apparently they sent a request yesterday for them to request a report from a cardiologist about my heart health, maybe to make sure that I don't have heart issues.

The assistant told me that it's ok and nothing to worry about. And that if I had issues I would have had symptoms long before now, and that the test is just for them to confirm that I am not hiding any condition.

I am a bit of a hypochondriac so I can't help but feel worried.

I was reading the rejection thread (I recommend it, if you want to start panicking). And one person was stating that he was cancelled because he did not forward some additional requested documents. However he never got the e-mail and also the first page was not showing a thing. That prompted me to now also check the following page with uploaded documents.

I've also read that thread.. It provided insightful reading when I waiting for my OINP nomination. Makes you realize that the vast majority of rejection occur due to a silly little mistake by the applicant like forgetting to upload the degree certificate thinking the ECA would be enough.

I mean, I think it's rather petty of IRCC to cancel an application for that reason, after all they TELL us to get our foreign degree certified by an accredited institution, so why on earth do they need a scanned version of the degree??? It's like IELTS, they have the number, they can (and probably will) verify it electronically so why do they need the certificate?

A lot of the stuff they ask for seems so redundant to me that I end up thing the only reason is to catch the the applicant out!

In our EE our agent made mistake and instead of Business, Management, mentioned Business Marketing in Field of Education. University, degree and time line is correct, but Field of Education not. Unfortunately, we had zero access to EE, because agents didn't share it with clients. Now that ITA was accepted, and we asked for screenshots of our EE profile too late, it cannot be fixed.

We were advised to simply mention correct Field of Educationin post ITA forms, but won't this cause rejection? It wont match information in EE.

what should we do?

I do not see that as a big issue. (it is almost the same anyway). small LOE shall fix the problem (you will state that your representative was not sure what to pick in order to describe your diploma properly and he ended up to describe it not accurately).
