12th Feb AOR here, my Background Status went from In Progress 1 (06/04//2017) to Not applicable today. This might have been the fastest background check

indeed the fastest i have seen...congrats for that...hopefully it changes for you to IP again soon... cheers

hello Guys,

why do u want to apply for Canada , there are no jobs here . Come only if u r ready to do labour jobs.

There would be hidden discrimination(not on ur face) by companies in hiring you if u r are from Asia , whites gets priority in every job.

i moved here in 2015 and was a senior professional in INDIA with qualification from IIM but am doing labour jobs in warehouse ... what looks good may not be good ......i burnt my bridges before moving here so difficult to return
but guys think n apply only if u r ready for low jobs like cleaner/waiter/labor etc.

Thank you for sharing your experience. This should be taken seriously in consideration, specially for those who already have a good job (professionals) and are not ready to take a "blue color job".

Starting a business is another option to consider if one is determined to change environment and willing to reach brighter stars...

I had Couriered my file to cic before one month. I notice one mistake just now. I found typo graphical error while filling generic form, Where one letter is wrong in Given name. My given name as per passport is Jiten Sureshkumar , By mistake i wrote Jiten Sureskumar ( H is missing in Sureshkumar ). I am waiting for AOR. What i have to do ? Please guide me . :-X :-X :'(

My First question is, Have you applied paper based application?
If yes, then this is the Forum for Express Entry Online application.
Until you receive AOR (which includes File Number) its hard for CIC to track your application and then modify it.
You should call CIC to explain this to them and ask for recommendation.

That's the same place. The people who sent you an email cannot distinguish. Even they say the same thing when you call them.

Its 11th april background check status haven't changed since then its 22 days since medical passed
still background check application in progress next step is to conduct a background check ( NOT STARTED )
I m bit worried

Don't worry the last update I had on my application was on March 3rd (Med passed and BG went to IP1)

FSW usually takes 45 to 60 days to be cleared.

Hey Guys i have a quick question!Got my AOR 27th feb,did my medicals on the 14th of march and the clinic told me that immigration would get the results 2 weeks later which would be by the 28th of march.My medicals passed in my profile but im not quite sure if the BG changed at all.At what point does it change because i've seen some saying it changes on the day your medicals pass.And mind you i was not checking my profile till the weekend of april 8th which is when i found out that my medicals had passed because they did not send me any emails to let me know.So im not too sure whether they did the first BG Process.My BG right now says Not applicable.Your help will deeply be appreciated!

My PGWP WP expires in 5 months. My spouse has SOWP. Should i apply for BOWP? Would i have to apply BOWP for my spouse as well?
