Hey guys, could you all please update the august sheet those who got PPR, so we get an idea of who is left.

it seems only the ones that have their bg in progress are getting pprs...
the rest of of might be in for a waite., but as long as not started bg doesn't mean a rejection, we are good..

Unfortunately not.. I got my bg in progress and I haven't got PPR yet..

I'll be around for some time...

However, great to see a big batch was sent out. Congratulations everyone who made it.

how does one check which Visa Office is working on our application? I am an FSW outlander based out of UAE, which VO would my case be assigned to?

Same boat mate. I too am based in UAE. I am wondering the same thing.

applied for GCMS on 6th of December so expecting within this week or may be today. so lets see

yesterday I received an email from Citizenship_and_Immigration_Canada@gc.cic.ca with subject line Request for Information

and it says

Sir, Madam,

Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:


We are currently looking into the issue described in your email. We will communicate with you as soon as we have more information


its 2nd time this week I am getting message from CIC. I think I sent few messages to CIC back in September...

Mine reached FBI 23 Nov. So if u add 3.5 months it will come somewhere in March. Long wait

Lols. Would definitely be happy to see you get your PPR like last year. On the otherhand, I have assumed all those getting PPRs today are for New Dehli VO and if you indeed got a PPR, that implies my assumptions are straight out of the window.

Vishal, no movement for you since change in BG status in early Nov? MY BG status changed this week only - exactly 5 months from AOR!

My guess is that from now on outland applicants will receive PPR from their Local VO, as it should have been since the beginning, cutting out the extra steps to change VO after PPR.
