NOW my question is why is so delay , last week i google a lot to get the answer why is delay, but honestly didn't get nothing then one of my senior staff where i do work advised me to ask question in this forum

If anyone can help I would be thankful

It seems that an August 1st applicant got AOR on January 15th. Assuming that your file was received September 1st, you should not start worrying or questioning until February 15th at the earliest. Depending on when your application was received in September, add more days to that and then 2 weeks for usual CIC delays.

By that calculation, a September 30th applicant should not worry or expect AOR until March 15th. This seems to be the current speed of processing. But to be safe you should add 2 weeks more to account for how slow CIC can be. After April 1st, I would start calling or emailing CIC to make sure that my file has been received and not lost etc.

Obviously you might get an AOR before then but I would not worry just yet.

No, but the reasons are easy enough to come up with;

- The recent increase in the amount of applicants since the beginning of 2014

- Security concerns after recent attacks on Canadian soil and on-going threats

- The launch of Express Entry

- Division of resources to accommodate EE

- Quality issues due to provincial selection not being carried out as strictly as CIC would like

It could be anything, I know it is painful to wait so long but if we didn't then Canada would no longer be a place that you would like to immigrate to anyway. These procedures are what makes this country safe, developed and a step ahead.

To be honest, the processing could be worse and take as long as the time indicated on the CIC website of 17 months. Right now, it is taking roughly 12-13 months. So let's be grateful and hope it doesn't get worse.

Please please give me the link where CIC website says it will take 17 month
Because I didn't get the processing time link for PNP inside canada
